With his team being matched up with FA, he will take on the responsibility of matching up with one of the top bigs in the state. He has shown this season that he has the ability to play strong inside the paint but also is able to step outside the paint and knock down perimeter shots.

Dubose was the best rebounder in the entire event with his ability to use his frame to carve out space on the glass. He also found a way to finish over taller defenders around the rim by utilizing his blend of strength and touch. Dubose has the ability to score from all over the floor, his outside touch has improved considerably from last season. His athleticism is starting to really catch up as well as he’s comfortable playing above the rim. Dubose is a very unique player who will see his stock rise considerably this season. As his body and game continue to develop, it will be interesting to see exactly what Dubose molds himself into as a player.

Dubose is a walking mismatch. Classic two big for a guard, too quick/skilled for a big and he’s really embracing that. His level of production will take a major increase this season, as will his efficiency from three. On Friday night he helped Greenfield cruise to a dominant win with 11 Points in limited minutes as Coach Salter let his depth guys work late in the game. Dubose will continue to develop his game and body to become the most dominant version of himself.

A power forward prospect who knows how to create matchup problems with his size and frame; averaged roughly 13 points and six rebounds per game; mobile presence who can operate inside and out with relative ease out of Greenfield School

DuBose was a menacing presence in the Greenfield School frontcourt this season as he checks in at No. 12 overall and the No. 1 ranked power forward prospect. He’s a bit under-sized at 6-foot-5 but easily makes up for it with his strong frame and skill set around the painted area. He’s a matchup nightmare and was a double-double machine in the making for the Knights as they made this year’s NCISAA Elite Eight in the state playoffs.

-A low post scorer in the mold of Sean May, DuBose used his size and strength to score at an efficient clip around the basket while extending possessions for his team with some big rebounds at key moments. DuBose made plays out of the short corner as a physical W/F tweener that can score in tight spaces off of last-second dump off passes from his teammates around the rim. I liked how decisive and efficient he was with his dribble around the basket, using a dribble or two to create space to finish but often scoring without putting the ball on the floor. Liked his scoring touch both from the free throw line and from the midrange–shooting 61% from the floor as a freshman shows the poise and steady hand that teams look for down the stretch of games.

It was yet another big game for DuBose Day 2 of the HoopState Opening Weekend on the interior as he posted dominant numbers with 18 points and seven rebounds in another victory. He’s another long-term 2028 prospect to track in the early going given his versatility and budding development in the painted area and beyond.

DuBose is a matchup nightmare in the making in the Greenfield School rotation. He does well to utilize his size and frame on the interior and is a rebounding machine when the ball isn’t in his hands. He’s a wing/forward with a bright future in the 2028 class in North Carolina.
