Stevens is a unique center who has impressive touch and perimeter shooting ability, going 9 for 11 from the floor with 22 points. Hitting some pick and pop 3-pointers as well as turnaround fallaway jumpers, Stevens was efficient from the floor. If Stevens can put on some weight and finish possessions as a defensive rebounder, the upside he provides you offensively as a 6’10 3-point shooter is very intriguing.

Stevens is a highly skilled big man with great size and length. A dominant presence on both ends of the floor. On defense, Stevens is a game changer , using his defensive instincts, athleticism, and size to protect the rim. Stevens does a great job of consistently staying vertical to avoid fouls while blocking or altering shots. Stevens excels in the pick-and-roll. He makes smart decisions as a short roller, and when he gets the ball rolling to the basket, he is going to finish. On the block, he is a force with his back to the basket, capable of punishing defenders. His hustle and quick feet allow him to stay active on both sides of the floor. Stevens also has the ability to stretch the defense with his 3-point shooting, keeping defenders honest. Stevens is a solid passer, that makes the right play.

-Impactful weekend for the top-10 junior forward in the absence of his team’s starting point guard, filling a role as a scorer that can excel from both the high and low post. Stevens showed great shooting touch throughout the day from all three levels while serving as a viable roll target with soft hands and a diverse bag of scoring moves around the rim. Stevens showed the ability to score over either shoulder, passed well out of double teams, and hit the glass heavy on both ends of the floor. Believe he has a ton of long-term upside as a skilled forward that plays within himself but can fit into different systems and schemes at the next level because of his skillset.

Stevens is another defending state champion on the NCISAA 3A stage after showing his versatility at the stretch-center role. He utilizes all of his 6-foot-10 length and then some as a rim protector in the painted area who plays with a ton of poise as a high-level shot-blocker. He’s developed offensively on the shooting front on the perimeter and has shown he can create on the block and in the high post when needed. He’s a HM/MM big man prospect for programs in the region to get eyes on with Davidson Day School.

Stevens is an NCISAA State Champion and quite the presence in the painted area and beyond out of Davidson Day School. He’s worked his way into the 10th spot in the latest rankings update in the 2026 class and now looks ready to become a national name. Charlotte, College of Charleston and VCU are the latest trio of schools to offer him for his services. He’s quite the high-level shot-blocking presence already as evidenced this past weekend at OTR Carolina Mayhem as he swatted shot after shot in their two victories on Saturday. He’s a confident defender who knows how to utilize his length his advantage and as he builds chemistry with those around him, he’s due to emerge as quite the frontcourt presence alongside big man

Stevens is a sizeable name rounding out the Top 10 as he checks in at No. 10 in the latest rankings update for the 2026 class. He’s a prospect who’s shown he can operate in a variety of ways at the forward spot for Davidson Day and Boo Williams on the EYBL stage. Ohio University and VCU have offered him so far but as more teams get eyes on him and see him block shots and anchor the painted area look for his recruitment to grow.

Stevens is continuing to prove himself as a unicorn type player, getting better and better with each outing and continuing his hot playing from Session I. Double digits in both of his first two games that came with a well-rounded scoring effort, mostly showcasing his touch and deep range. Good at working into pockets of open space and knocking down the deep ball. Still needs some work solidifying his release and quickness on his shot, but if he can shoot it the way he has been consistently, there’s no need.

Stevens found ways to contribute in the painted area and beyond as Boo Williams showed off their strength in numbers in EYBL Session I. He was impressive at being efficient in the painted area, shooting 11-of-14 across all four games while averaging 7.8 PPG, 2.3 RPG and 1.0 APG. He’s a wiry forward prospect who isn’t afraid to alter shots around the rim and run the floor on the offensive end to make things happen. He’s a HM prospect in the making as he continues to develop.

Stevens is a big man to track in the 2026 class as he moves into the 10th spot in the latest rankings update following a productive year at Davidson Day which saw him also take home an NCISAA 3A State Title.
