Lucas Wiersma Lucas Wiersma 6'7" | PF T L Hanna | 2026 State SC rounds of the SCBCA All-State players in the 864. A cross-town rival of Webb and Westside High School, Lucas really made his presence felt over his four years on varsity. In his final season, Wiersma stood out defensively, putting up 12.1 rebounds per game and 2.2 blocks per game. He chose to continue his basketball career at Augusta University, so look out for him to be an excellent player in the Peach Belt Conference over the coming years.

Lucas is the highest-ranked true post presence in this list. However, that doesn’t mean he isn’t able to do some of the modern things like handle and shoot. Wiersma had a nice showing at the Prep Hoops Top 250 Expo and could help lead the Yellow Jackets to a deep run this year.

Wiersma has really had a good fall with his play at the Prep Hoops Expo Carolinas and the SCBCA Elite Camp. Lucas plays every possession to the fullest at all times. He runs down rebounds on both ends of the court and outside of his area. Lucas plays RELENTLESS on the glass.

Lucas chimes in this time around #19 moving up from his previous spot of #36. He fills the lane in transition and has ability to step-out and knockdown shots. He’s looking to have a big season this year for the Yellow Jackets in the Upstate.
