He is one of the only key players who return to the Yellow Jackets this season, which means he should get a lot of the ball in his hands. Santino’s scoring ability will be on display then, so if he can add some consistent facilitating to go with it he could rise in the rankings.

Tapia’s fall league highlights portrayed him as a creative offensive player who can work from either spot in the backcourt because of his ability to score on or off the ball. He’s got a solid handle, plays at pace well, and can fill it up from deep range.

Another junior guard who impressed with his consistent playmaking production and creativity is Santino. Tapia will be left with a lot of the ball in his hands after a ton of offseason movement away from TL Hanna, and he proved he’s someone they should be excited to let work thanks to a strong showing in Rock Hill. He is one of a handful of guards who stood out in both settings at camp, but his ability to stay effective in either backcourt position by staying in constant attack mode allowed him to remain impactful in 5-on-5 play when other guards can phase out.
