Jones is such a valuable piece to this Christ School team primarily with his ability to give this team a real edge on the defensive end. Jones can really turn the corner and get to the rim with a purpose, he was incredibly efficient with that aspect of his game today. Jones finished with 19 Points on only 9 field goal attempts. He was a perfect 6-6 from the line while adding 4 rebounds to the day. He’s a big time athlete with above the rim ability, has solid outside touch to keep defenses honest, but he is a true downhill specialist. Jones is an Uber athlete. He is explosive, which allows him to get into the paint to score or find a teammate. He has a nice floater when in the paint and has 3pt range. He is aggressive on the defensive end and wants to get out in transition.

Jones is a pace-setting combo guard and a new face inside the Top 10 of the 2026 rankings market corrections out of Christ School. He’s an aggressive presence who attacks on both ends with his length and quickness at the guard spot. He produced 8.3 points, 3.4 assists, 2.0 rebounds and 1.7 steals per game in the Greenies’ run to another NCISAA 4A State Title. His ability to make things happen, push the pace and defend at a high level make him an easy prospect for DI programs in the region to target. He’ll be one of a few prospects to keep an eye on in the Team Thad rotation on the EYBL scene this spring/summer.

Jones moves from No. 33 to No. 19 in the latest 2026 rankings update. He’s emerged as a top playmaker in the backcourt alongside Madden Collins Madden Collins 6'5" | SG Christ School | 2025 State NC , dishing out 4.1 assists per game along with 9.5 points, 2.1 steals and 2.0 rebounds per contest to pace the Greenies rotation. He’s a solid presence who knows how to make his presence felt on both ends as he continues to move up the ranks in the 2026 class. Jones is one of a few new faces to get to know in the Christ School rotation. He’s shown off his playmaking ability so far in the backcourt with 4.0 assists per game on the year for the Greenies. His assists production has only gone up as he’s gotten accustomed to his new teammates as he distributed seven assists against Carmel Christian and has distributed four or more assists in three of four games so far. He’s one name to get to know on the NCISAA stage in North Carolina’s 2026 class.

Jones makes the move from Tennessee to North Carolina as he joins The Christ School backcourt looking to strengthen things. The Greenies have won back-to-back NCISAA state titles heading in and adding Jones raises their profile a bit given he holds an offer from Tennessee State already. He’s a prospect with a bright future ahead of him as he debuts at No. 33 in the latest rankings update.
