Manhertz was going off against Iowa United Prep in a 20 point win, scoring 30 points without attempting a free throw. That’s because Manhertz is a bucket, plain and simple. The lefty wing is an elite shooter with the positional size to shoot over defenders. Knocking down 8/12 3-pointers, Manhertz was making it rain on Monday afternoon. Already with a final three schools posted, Manhertz appears ready to make a decision sooner rather than later.

A four-star prospect in the Class of 2027, Manhertz is being sought after by the likes of Duke, Indiana, and Louisville. It didn’t take long on Monday to see why he is so highly regarded. Manhertz, a smooth, left-handed shooter poured in eight three-point shots in the game and led all scorers with 30 points. He is such a talented and confident scorer.

Manhertz has been such a quality player for Christ School and had a real pop off performance in the Championship game of the Rudy Watson bracket. Manhertz finished with 20 Points on 7-14 from the floor and 5-11 from beyond the arc. He also grabbed 7 Rebounds in the contest. Manhertz ability to be highly productive on limited usage is one of the things that makes him so appealing. He can shoot it on the move, he’s grown to 6’9″, and a lot of high level programs are taking notice. Manhertz recently visited Duke and Louisville after his John Wall Holiday Invitational performance. It’s all coming together for a kid who still has so much more room to grow. Manhertz will continue to add strength and refine his game. Expect a major major national blow up shortly, we’ve known the whole time tho.

After not playing on Saturday, Manhertz showed his big time upside on Sunday as the talented lefty wing made some deep 3-pointers over hard closeouts. I did like how well Manhertz moved up and down the court, covering a lot of ground, but he is a little upright as a ball handler when creating right now. Getting lower off the dribble should allow him to create more space and get easier jumpers off the dribble. Looking every bit like a top 100 prospect, Manhertz is a surefire high major target.

Possessing a long rangy frame with exceptional length and explosiveness, Manhertz proved to be a formidable presence on the court. His ability to score efficiently from various spots, coupled with burgeoning playmaking skills, made him a challenging matchup for defenders throughout the event. Manhertz is a long, athletic shooter. He has distance out to 3pt range. Manhertz does a good job on the defensive glass which allows him to get out in transition.

Manhertz finds himself well inside the Top 50 in the latest rankings market corrections at No. 44 in the 2026 class in the North Carolina out of Green Level. He’s a sizeable prospect who’s a matchup problem in the making given his length at 6-foot-7 at the shooting guard spot. He showcased that ability with the Gators with 55 made 3-pointers on 13.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.4 steals per contest this past season. He had a career season as a junior with the Gators even dropping a career-high 28 points against Holly Springs back on Feb. 22. He’s shown he can do a little bit of everything on the floor, including defending and making things happen for others. He’ll be a leading name to know for Garner Road National as college programs look to the grassroots scene for prospects.
