Rounding out my 2028 and 2029 standouts from the Upward Stars Fall League this week is a North Carolina Guard, Micah Goodlow Micah Goodlow 5'11" | CG Christ School | 2028 State NC . I had heard some good things about Micah and his game coming into Tuesday’s matchup with Inman Affiliation (Chapman), but this was my first time getting to see it for myself. He backed it all up on the court, looking the part of an elite backcourt threat. Goodlow’s combination of shiftiness with the ball in his hands, craftiness as a finisher, and desire to set others up all caught my eye, and should project excellent play once the high school season starts and he plays more minutes and is asked to do more with the ball in his hands.

Goodlow is a scoring, ball handling guard who averaged 11.3 points per game. He shows good quickness, is a reliable open shooter from beyond the arc, and can create offense off the dribble. He also competes on the defensive end, bringing energy and effort on both sides of the floor.

Christ School stepped up to the challenge of facing Southeastern Prep on short notice. Goodlow knocked down three 3-pointers in just 15 minutes of action, most importantly playing fearless against a team full of high major athletes. Being able to make quick and confident decisions against a team with the size and length of Southeastern Prep is very impressive and Christ School only had five turnovers, a key reason why they were able to hang around for the whole game.

Up from 65: Played a large role in Year 2, averaging 8.8 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists. Solid three-point shooter.  Starting to pop up on D-I radars.
