The third and final EYBL Scholastic member included in this article, Whitty has had a big season for Christ School as a senior. One of the top scorers in the league, Whitty has taken his scoring ability to the next level. A monster track athlete, Whitty has the explosiveness and strength to fit in with the up-tempo style of play that the Big 12 is known for. If Whitty is consistently making perimeter shots, he should be able to craft a role early in his college career with the physicality he brings from the point guard position.

This point guard controlled the game out of the backcourt while leading Christ School (NC) to a dominant 78-58 win over Iowa United on Monday. Whitty, a West Virginia signee, scored 17 points and dished out 10 assists to finish with a double-double. His ability to manipulate the defense, make the right read from a live dribble, and score when needed was very impressive.

Whitty had a brilliant second half for Christ School who ran away from Southeast Raleigh as the game went on. The WVU commit was a real persence on the glass, tying for the team lead with seven while pouring in 15 points. Whitty is really smooth in ball screen situations, getting to the basket where he is a really high level finisher. Defensively he was really impactful guarding the point of attack and making life difficult for the opposition as the game went on. Whitty is physically ready for the challenges of college hoops and should continue to help Christ School through the rest of the week and into the Nike EYBL Scholastic slate.

‘s stock has been steadily rising ever since November and he’s earned the right to call himself one of the top point guards in the class. Whitty is a gifted, three-level scorer with elite shotmaking ability. He knows how to get to his spots effectively, with or without the ball. We’ve also seen his athleticism take a major leap this year and he’s now dunking the ball on a routine basis. The news recently broke that he’ll be headed to Walker for his junior year where he’ll team up with

transferred to Lovett for his sophomore year and made an immediate impact upon arrival, several games with 25+ points. Whitty is an ultra-skilled point guard that can score from all three levels. He’s shifty with the ball in his hands and knows how to get to his spots. The strength and athleticism have come a long way to where we’re now seeing Whitty get above the rim and occasionally bully his way through traffic. He should be a hot name this spring with Team Huncho.
