He gives lockdown defensive effort, secures the rebound, initiates the break, finds a teammate in transition, and keeps working to be available for the finish (in 1 possession). He takes advantage of his length and agility whenever he gets the opportunity. Expect him to expand his ability to finish the play in the open court and add more versatility to his perimeter game with his year at Overtime Elite. Diop has NBA lottery pick potential, but for now, SEC teams.

His offensive skillset continues to show improvement and he’s proven capable of knocking down the mid-range jumper consistently. Rebounding and rim protection are at a premium as well. Diop’s offer list is headlined by Georgia, Ole Miss, Alabama, and Georgia Tech.

but he’s recently taken the necessary steps to become the top player in Georgia’s 2026 class. As a sophomore at Walker, Diop took home Region Player of the Year and consistently put up 20 and 10. He’s extremely long and mobile at 6’10, able to impact the game on both ends. Diop has also shown the ability to make shots from the mid-range and he’ll occasionallu step out for a three too. His list of high-major offers will only continue to grow.

don’t come around every day. Diop is extremely long and athletic at 6’10, able to cover a ton of ground on the court. He’s one of the state’s best rim protectors regardless of class. Offensively, Diop isn’t afraid to rise up and hit the 15-footer and he’s going to dunk everything around the rim. I’d say he has the highest ceiling of any Georgia prospects right now.

was a difference maker as soon as he stepped onto the court for Walker as a freshman and now looks ready to dominate after adding to and polishing the offensive skillset. At 6’10, Diop is a powerful finisher at the rim and he’s recently been showing us the ability to attack from the perimeter. He’s a shot-blocking machine on the defensive end and controls the boards when he’s in the game. Diop can be a high-major, top 50 prospect when it’s all said and done, his sophomore year is an important stepping stone.

Moustapha has emerged as one of the top big men in the 2026 class. Not only is Diop incredibly long, he’s extremely coordinated and has a high skill level. He’s got good balance and enough strength to score on the low block with spin moves and can help stretch the floor with his three-point shot. Early on in the season, Moustapha is one of the top statistical shot blockers in the state. He is averaging over 15 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks per game.
