Continue ReadingThe upside has always been clear with Moustapha Diop Moustapha Diop 6’10” | C Walker | 2026 State GA but he’s recently taken the necessary steps to become the top player in Georgia’s 2026 class. As a sophomore at Walker, Diop took home Region Player of the Year and consistently put up 20 and 10. He’s extremely long and mobile at 6’10, able to impact the game on both ends. Diop has also shown the ability to make shots from the mid-range and he’ll occasionallu step out for a three too. His list of high-major offers will only continue to grow.
Javonte Floyd Javonte Floyd 6’9″ | C Douglass | 2026 State GA broke onto the scene this year as a sophomore at Douglass. Floyd anchored the middle and provided the energy, helping Douglass win a lot of tough games. He’s the kind of big man that wants to dunk everything around the cup. Floyd gets up and down well and serves as an effective rim-runner. Defensively, Floyd provides steady rim protection and knows where to be in help defense. He’s recently received offers from Penn State, UNLV, and UAB.
Hezekiah Kent Hezekiah Kent 6’8″ | C Brunswick | 2026 State GA ‘s future may ultimately be on the football field but as long he keeps taking the court, he’ll remain one of the more dominant bigs in Georgia’s 2026 class. Kent is quite the force inside, carrying over a lot of that toughness and physicality from the gridiron. He has great hands around the basket and finishes strong with two hands, often time throwing it down. Kent will contribute to a mean front court with South Georgia Elite this spring.
Kevin Curtis Kevin Curtis 6’10” | C Grovetown | 2026 State GA saw a significant role increase this year at Grovetown and took advantage of the opportunity. Curtis is one of the top rim-protectors in this class, able to utilize his length and a quick second jump to block a lot of shots. There’s still lots of room for growth offensively and he’ll get stronger inside as he adds weight to the 6’10 frame. Kevin Curtis Kevin Curtis 6’10” | C Grovetown | 2026 State GA is certainly a player worth tracking over the next few years.
It’s hard to unnoticed when your 6’10. Kuol Deng Kuol Deng 6’10” | C Calvary Day | 2026 State GA is no longer a secret and he’s now considered one of the top bigs in Georgia’s 2026 class. Deng is still fairly raw but he’s flashed the ability to put it on the floor and attack from perimeter, something that’s rare for a player his size. His size and athleticism make for plenty of powerful finishes above the rim. While Deng is still fairly new to Georgia and flying under the radar, he’ll have the opportunity to prove himself this spring with South Georgia Elite .
