Our 2026 rankings have been updated just before the start of the OHSAA basketball season. It's been a busy fall for players with fall leagues, showcases and preseason scrimmages giving players the opportunity to establish themselves with other top peers in the state. These types of events have given us enough new information to consider adding new names and shuffling the rankings throughout the rankings.

The top 5 remains the same names with the only swap being [player_tooltip player_id='1660032' first='Alex' last='Constanza'] passing his Spire teammate [player_tooltip player_id='2023905' first='Tarris' last='Bouie'] for second place. Both are ranked in the top 40 of our national rankings. Top ranked [player_tooltip player_id='1670105' first='Anthony' last='Thompson'] has separated himself in Ohio and is a top 10 national prospect. [player_tooltip player_id='1705948' first='Marcus' last='Johnson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1595674' first='Aiden' last='Derkack'] round out the top 5.

[player_tooltip player_id='2961994' first='Dorian' last='Rinaldo-Komlan'] is the highest ranked newcomer as the Iowa State commit comes to Spire from France. Rinaldo-Komlan finds himself in 6th place, one spot above VCU commit [player_tooltip player_id='2441592' first='Collin' last='Ross'] who plays for Spire's post grad team.

In our OHSAA rankings, the top 6 remains the same with [player_tooltip player_id='1705948' first='Marcus' last='Johnson'], [player_tooltip player_id='2426114' first='Jason' last='Singleton'], [player_tooltip player_id='1827697' first='Julian' last='Washington'], [player_tooltip player_id='1705956' first='Xavier' last='McKinney'], [player_tooltip player_id='1827696' first='Cameron' last='Elwer'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1705954' first='Alan' last='Horton'] at the top. The 7th spot sees a new name as [player_tooltip player_id='1943740' first='Marco' last='Mattucci'] jumps up a few spots with there being very little separation among top OHSAA prospects with over a dozen committed to mid major Division I programs already.
