Massillon Washington has been one of the surprise teams in Ohio this season, becoming a state title contender in Division II thanks to their depth of talent. Able to play seven or eight guys confidently, this Tigers team has the bench quality to play games as fast as possible. Gamble is a football first prospect with offers to New Mexico, Ohio, Kent State and Miami (OH) already on the gridiron. On the hardwood, Gamble can set the table as a passer, making the right read in the half-court. Having players who can make plays for others is so crucial for a team with a ton of athletes who want to get out and play as fast as possible.

Versailles has had a nice run of sending prospects to the college level recently and this is the second Stonebraker to catch my eyes as a top big in his region. The Tigers are currently 13-5 and Stonebraker's ability to space the floor as a forward makes them tough to defend in the half court. Stonebraker is skilled for his size and age, I'll be looking for him to get tougher as a rebounder and defender. Intriguing prospect who will get a lot of small college attention this summer.

One of two North Royalton players to debut in the 2027 rankings this update, Klingbeil is a three sport athlete at North Royalton and tops out at 91 MPH as a pitcher. His size is impressive in the paint and he has soft hands and good footwork with his back to the basket. Also able to run dho's through him as a screener and make kickouts from the post to a shooter, Klingbeil is a very valuable high school big on the offensive end of the court. Looking like a baseball first prospect, Klingbeil would get some strong small college interest if he wanted to prioritize basketball this summer as well.

Another program with multiple players making their debut in our 2027 rankings this update, Olentangy Berlin is a program on the rise. With a strong end to their season, Olentangy Berlin could tie or break the current school record of 15 wins as they currently sit at 11 wins with six regular season games left plus a postseason run. Bruns is having a breakout junior season as the 6'2 wing guard is the definition of a bucket. Bruns can catch fire quickly and has a spring in his step as a downhill slasher. Expect Olentangy Berlin to be even better next season with a majority of their production coming from juniors and sophomores.

After a 12-0 start to the season caught the attention of fans in Division VII, Lehman Catholic has dropped four of their last seven but could get some momentum heading into the playoffs with a rematch Vs Troy Christian to determine second place in the Three Rivers Conference. Frantz has done a bit of everything for Lehman Catholic this season, leading the conference in scoring, third in rebounding and fifth in blocks. Frantz has the size to bully smaller defenders in the paint but also is skilled enough to stretch out bigs and dribble by them. Able to catch fire from the outside, Frantz has eight games this season with three or more made 3-pointers. One of the top Division VII players in the state, expect Frantz to finish on one of the all-state teams at the conclusion of the season.

Few teams have challenged themselves on a nightly basis quite like Lutheran West has to prepare themselves for a potential playoff push. The Longhorns have played in a handful of showcase events and have performed well away from home this season. Their 2027 class is the leaders of the program with Kuszmaul and [player_tooltip player_id='2125729' first='Aiden' last='Monroe'] taking big jumps this season. Kuszmaul is one of the top shooters in northeast Ohio and has some big-time scoring outbursts this season. Kuszmaul won game MVP at the Danny Young Classic and should be a priority small college target due to his positional size and shooting ability.
