Wooten Jr has had some big games for the Bruins this season, who have impressed with a young roster. Wooten Jr can attack using either hand as a driver and finisher, a guard you cannot shade to one direction at the point of attack. Confident making live dribble passes with either hand as well, the ability to make plays going either direction makes him tough to predict for defenses. Wooten Jr's explosive athleticism allows him to play above the rim and block shots defensively. Exciting times for Padua as they also have a couple of 2029 prospects who have made early impacts at the varsity level.

One of the taller players in the class, Blye certainly has the physical frame to eventually become an impact player at the college level. After missing the first four games of the season, Blye has added rebounding and size to a talented Aiken squad fighting for a CMAC title. Blye's best performance of the season came in a loss to Taft where he scored eight points and grabbed 10 rebounds. That match-up has been good for Blye as he had six points and 12 rebounds in the first meeting between the squads. Bigs always take longer to produce at the high school level so I wouldn't be surprised if Blye takes a big leap as a senior or early in his college career.

Playing on the top team in the OHSAA, Long has fought for minutes on a team filled with talent. Efficiently scoring from the field when his name has been called, Long is shooting 65% from the floor this year. Long had a season high eight points in a two-point win over Lima Senior, going 4/4 from the field in that game. Long being sick and missing the Firebirds last game proved to be a big deal as Princeton took a lead over the shorthanded Lakota West squad in the fourth quarter. Long returning to the court will provide a quick boost for a Lakota West squad looking to finish off an unbeaten conference season with three games remaining.

A football first prospect, Murfield has four MAC offers on the gridiron and his physicality as a forward in the paint shows exactly why. His explosiveness for a player his size is quite impressive, Murfield had a sweet putback dunk in a December contest posted on his twitter account. An impressive rebounder and energy big, Murfield creates extra possessions for his team. New Albany has the pieces to make a deep playoff run and Murfield is one of a handful of talented 2027 prospects on their team.

A prospect who recently made a reclass from class of 2026 to class of 2027, Suardini is a steady point guard who takes care of the basketball, makes shot and competes on the defensive end of the court. Already holding an offer to Division III powerhouse Trine and maintaining a 4.3 GPA according to his twitter, high academic programs should be prioritizing Suardini due to his excellence in the classroom. Already ranked in the 2026 class, Suardini takes a similar position in the class of 2027 with the opportunity to move up next season with the prep powerhouse Western Reserve Academy.

The second Aiken prospect to be featured in this article, McNeill is having a breakout junior season averaging over 11 points per game. I like the positional size McNeill brings to the table and he's a capable perimeter shot maker. McNeill has gone for 19 points twice this season Vs Clark Montessori and Taft while I caught him score 17 points Vs defending Division I state champion Olentangy Orange in an exciting back and forth contest. Look for Aiken to be a serious threat to make a deep playoff run next season with their entire roster projected to return.
