Brownsburg vs. Gary 21st Century

The host Brownsburg Bulldogs entered postseason play last season 10-12, but knocked off Avon, Plainfield, and Ben Davis to capture a very surprising Sectional championship. This team will feature some new faces in largely expanded roles, but they will be able to lean on a pair of seniors to lead the way. [player_tooltip player_id='1561114' first='Brandon' last='Addison'] returns after averaging 9.3 points per game last season and North Central transfer [player_tooltip player_id='1962847' first='Chrishon' last='Woodward'] could be their most talented player. As for Gary 21st Century, they will be among the favorites to cut down the nets in Class 2A this season. Indiana Junior All-Star [player_tooltip player_id='1561080' first='Terrence' last='Hayes'] is the star of the show having averaged 20.8 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 5.6 assists per game last season. He has plenty of talent around him as well for what should be a dynamic offensive team. The Cougars were just one possession away from reaching the 2A state finals last season.

New Albany vs. Plainfield

This matchup will be loaded with prospects between two teams that will compete among or near the Top 10 of Class 4A all season long. Indiana Junior All-Star [player_tooltip player_id='1561513' first='Noah' last='Smith'], a DePaul commit, averaged 16.8 points and 7.8 rebounds last season to lead the Quakers. [player_tooltip player_id='2267048' first='Harper' last='Baker-Lands'] added 15.3 points per game while [player_tooltip player_id='1560946' first='Landon' last='Gilliatt'] scored 9.5 points per game. Returning their top three scorers is certainly an excellent starting point for the 2025-2026 season. New Albany will feature Class of 2028 standout [player_tooltip player_id='2382148' first='Noah' last='Washington'] who averaged 14.5 points per game as a freshman. The Bulldogs will rely on another freshman to bolster their lineup as [player_tooltip player_id='2888227' first='Karson' last='Stoudemire'] promises to be an instant impact player. There will be no shortage of college level talent on the floor when these two teams face-off.
