Cathedral vs. South Bend St. Joseph

Cathedral made the move down to Class 3A last season while South Bend St. Joseph will move up to Class 4A this season due to the success factor. The Huskies were State Runner-Up in 2024 before cutting down the nets in 2025. With what all they have returning they will immediately be among the top teams in 4A as well. Indiana Junior All-Star [player_tooltip player_id='2024513' first='Nick' last='Shrewsberry'], junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2140359' first='Elijah' last='King'], and senior point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1560973' first='Ethan' last='Roseman'] headline what will be an excellent team with a lot of depth. As for the Fighting Irish, [player_tooltip player_id='1561435' first='Julien' last='Smith'] brings back 13.5 points per game while [player_tooltip player_id='1561135' first='Keaton' last='Aldridge Jr']. averaged 11.2 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game last season. R'Mani Wells is another senior who should be a difference-maker this season.

Lawrence North vs. Noblesville

Two Top 10 Class 4A teams will battle it out in the fifth of seven games at the Sneakers For Santa Shootout. Lawrence North surprised some people at the Charlie Hughes Showcase in June proving themselves as a worthy contender once again. Indiana Junior All-Star [player_tooltip player_id='1729136' first='Brennan' last='Miller'] returns as one of the top rebounders in the state. The 6'7" versatile forward averaged 13.4 points and 8.6 rebounds per game. Seniors [player_tooltip player_id='1561031' first='Cameron' last='Webster'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2252744' first='Duke' last='Karnes'] will be relied upon in the backcourt while the addition of 6'5" sophomore wing [player_tooltip player_id='2560351' first='Chandon' last='Gilbert'] will be big for the Wildcats. Meanwhile, for the Millers of Noblesville, their veteran backcourt of Butler commit [player_tooltip player_id='1561054' first='Baron' last='Walker'] and Division I recruit [player_tooltip player_id='1534261' first='Justin' last='Curry II'] is one of the best in the state once again. The pair of Indiana Junior All-Stars averaged 15.7 and 15.6 points per game respectively last season. Finding depth around them will be the key for Noblesville unlocking their ceiling this season.
