Indiana Class of 2028 Prospect Breakdowns

Recent transfer to University High School, [player_tooltip player_id='2411078' first='Jaxen' last='Bennett'] is a heady combo guard that balances scoring and facilitating. Big time shooter that shoots an effortless ball from the perimeter. It's a quick trigger release that's on balance whether it's off the catch or off the dribble. He's best with the ball in his hands as a playmaker where he can get to his spot and make the right reads. Patient in the pick and roll, he has a nice burst off the screen creating separation where he can draw defenders to either hit the roll man or set up shooters spotting up.   2024-2025 Stats: N/A     Long and athletic wing that impacts the game on both ends of the floor. Aggressive defender with size and quickness to guard multiple positions while playing with a high motor. Really good rebounder that has the ability to pull down a rebound and push in transition. He plays with a high IQ looking to make the right play while staying aggressive to score. Smooth jump shooter from the perimeter that can get his shot off quickly off the bounce or off the catch. When he drives he stays on balance playing off two feet and shoots with a soft touch from the midrange and also finishes through contact when getting all the way to the basket.     Physical two-way forward that uses his size and strength to his advantage really well. Elite rebounder on both ends of the floor. He plays with a high motor and does a good job reading the ball off the rim and rebounding out of his area. Defensively he's a long and moves his feet well making him a switchable defender. He battles hard for position defensively and does a good job staying vertical while altering and blocking shots. Offensively he has a soft touch around the basket. Showed a capable jump shot out to the three-point line off the catch but does most of his damage fifteen feet and in.     Two-sport athlete for Mater Dei, his future very well could be baseball, but [player_tooltip player_id='2797684' first='Spencer' last='Schiff'] is as steady as they come as at the guard spot. Does a really good job defensively using his quickness and athleticism to create turnovers. He pressures with active hands and takes advantage of any mistake that the offense makes. Offensively he's really god off the catch from the perimeter. He has a smooth, quick release that goes in at a high clip. On the ball, he's a steady lead guard that takes care of the ball and plays at his own pace.     Smooth shooter with good size. He shoots an effortless ball from the perimeter. Always has his feet set and ready to get into his shot and on balance. Also showed the ability to put it on the floor and score in a variety of different ways in the midrange. Utilizes shot fakes really well to get open. Defensively he's sound. He stays down in a stance and competes on that end to keep his man in front of him.
