The Green Wave defeated the Indians 69-60 here at the [program_tooltip program_id='2078736' first='Lowcountry' last=''] Roundball Classic. Teal Jr was able to overpower his way to the bucket at times and score the ball at the rim. Redmon is crafty to use the old school bounce pass to find a teammate open on the floor. He can create his own shot with separation from the defender. Brycen surely doesn't lack any confidence with his game at all.

Sophomore shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='2679127' first='Ryder' last='Henderson'] finished with 14 points on 4 three-pointers here today. Lucas is relentless on the boards and glass with his constant activity around the bucket. He will jump on the deck for a loose ball without any hesitation at all. Lucas really looks to stir up with contact around the bucket.

Brice brings the energy and enthusiasm to the floor at all times just like his brother. Darby a senior moves alright around the floor and keeps the ball up high. Hatch just a sophomore likes to play more face-up and has really sprouted up in the past year it seems. Hudson surely might not be done growing at all.

[player_tooltip player_id='2709017' first='Hopper' last='Afman'] was a new name for the database here today. The American Leadership Academy Patriots vs Lucy Beckham HS Bengals. American Leadership Academy a new program based out of Lexington is led by junior forward [player_tooltip player_id='2175554' first='Payton' last='Miles']. Miles likes to play inside-out on the floor and generally leans to more on the perimeter. Payton moves well with his feet and from side to side. He will jump on the floor for loose balls. Payton still must get stronger down the road. He really likes to have the ball in his hands when it comes to handling at times. Payton likes to play his game mostly out on the perimeter, and he certainly can knockdown the 3-ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='1703401' first='Owen' last='Elkins'] a senior guard for Lucy Beckham HS made some shots early. Jontae Anderson a undersized post brings some toughness to the floor with his ability to alter and challenge shots around the bucket. The Lions who play in SCISA Class 4A were led by sophomore guard [player_tooltip player_id='2412819' first='Ty' last='Shine'] with 28 points. Shine scored 17 points in the second half to secure the win for the Lions (11-2). Ty plays the game so smooth with his play. He played last season over at Curtis Baptist. He was able to stalk the baseline, create for others and simply just make plays at the right time to secure the win.

UNSIGNED Senior [player_tooltip player_id='1300731' first='Bryce' last='Reynierson'] finished with 16 points. Bryce is a very deceptive athlete with his play on the floor. He can work the baseline, knockdown jumpers, slash to the cup and handle the rock all in the matter of minutes.

[player_tooltip player_id='2478626' first='Uzziah' last='Morton'] is a load down in the paint for the Lions. The wide-bodied post player has a good set of hands to catch anything thrown in his direction. He will play with his back to the basket and really look to carve out space. Morton a junior certainly likes to play the game on contact. He finished with 10 points in the Lions win.

[player_tooltip player_id='1460771' first='Jacob' last='Nguyen'] a senior for Spring-Ford HS did the best he could to keep his team in the game. Nguyen who ran with [program_tooltip program_id='2078697' first='Philly' last='Pride'] on the Grassroots Circuit finished with 22 points in the game. Jacob really has good shooting mechanics and a understanding of good shot selection.

Wildcats Win in Nightcap:

The host West Ashley HS Wildcats came up with a big 2nd half to defeat to the Loudoun Valley (VA) Vikings 65-57 in the final game of the day at the Carolina Invitational. The Wildcats trailed 39-26 at the halftime break. West Ashley HS outscored the Vikings 20-6 to lead 46-45 heading into the final quarter.

[player_tooltip player_id='1714849' first='Damani' last='White'] a junior guard led the Wildcats with 16 unofficial points in the win. White really picked up his game going to the basket and attacking with some floaters down the lane in the second half. Damani brought the defense and was the vocal leader in the 2nd half for the Wildcats to prevail in victory.

[player_tooltip player_id='2458425' first='Kendell' last='Mack'] provided some much-needed perimeter scoring today for the Wildcats on his way to scoring 14 points. Damon Junior and [player_tooltip player_id='1571775' first='Cameron' last='Brown'] both finished with 8 points apiece in the win. [player_tooltip player_id='2467362' first='Jackson' last='Terrell'] provided some muscle around the basket on his way to scoring 7 points tonight.

That rounded up the day in Chucktown - 3 locations - Over 12 Hours in the Gym - 190 miles driving. Wouldn't change a thing - PRICELESS - 25th year in the business - 21st year here in South Carolina
