Each rankings cycle brings a new wave of movement, and this spring update was no different for South Carolina's 2027 class. Inside the Top 150, several prospects made their way onto the board after putting together strong high school seasons, showing steady development, and proving they belong in the conversation moving forward. This group brings a mix of production, upside, and long-term intrigue as the class continues to take shape across the state.

He was named All-State and 5A Region 6 Player of the Year, helping lead the Sharks to a 20-win season and a deep playoff run. Elijah is an elite scorer, capable of hitting tough shots off the bounce against even the best of defenders.

The highest-ranked new big man is [player_tooltip player_id='3244799' first='Logan' last='Jacobs']. He really showed some flashes throughout the season, particularly as a shot blocker. Jacobs averaged 1.6 blocks per game in 2025-26, earning a selection to the All-Region team. He is still pretty raw physically and offensively, but he is long and athletic enough to be a lob threat at the next level.

Waccamaw's Reisdorff is another big man who makes his debut in the Spring Rankings Update. Like Logan, Tiki has good instincts as a rim protector. He blocked 2.3 shots per game this year, but one of the things that is intriguing with him is his shooting. Reisdorff doesn't have a ton of volume from the outside, but he is a developing shooter who could be a real stretch threat by the time his career is finished.

Hoover was one of the real breakout two-guards in the Upstate this season. He put up over 15 points per game with 59 makes from three. Listed at 6'3", Chase has some solid positional length to pull the trigger over opposing guards, along with decent athleticism to make plays off the dribble. Hoover had seven games with 20 or more points and will likely be the #1 option for the Tigers in 2026-27.
