About Damani
Expert Analysis
Andrew Baxley | Prep Hoops Scout
Even though he comes off the bench, the Wildcats offense runs much better with White on the court. He went for 17 points, 4 assists, and 2 steals in a win over Northwestern. Damani is very much a playmaker, capable of creating looks for himself and others. He can penetrate a defense off the dribble, keeps his head up to find teammates, finishes through contact, pull-up in the mid-range and behind the arc, and can spot up in the corners when another Guard has the ball.

White really looks to push the tempo and play up and down the floor. He will look to create some chaos at times and look to score the ball from coast to coast. Damani wants to play 94 feet and has nose to score the ball. White really sees the floor well and has a tight handle while keeping the rock on a string at times. He plays down in Chuck town at West Ashley HS.

White has made a big push since the last update. Damani chimes in at #35 after being #56 back in June. White really looks to push the tempo and create a side of chaos on the floor. He plays well in an up-tempo – 94 feet style of play and swarming the ball on defense. Damani plays at Class 5A West Ashley HS on the westside of Charleston.
