Hatch was a major stock-riser at the Adidas 3SSB Session in Ishawaka with his solid and steady production for Team Loaded VA 3SSB 16u who went 2-2 on the session. Hatch averaged 14.8 Points, 5.5 Rebounds, 0.5 Assists, and 1.5 Blocks per game on the session while making 12 3s over the course of 4 games. Hatch is proving to be a classic blend of shot blocking and floor spacing that has many schools and scouts around the country extremely intrigued with what he can become. Anytime you can get a guy that is going to play a low maintenance game that has a tangible two way impact at this size, you find a way to do it. Hatch will surely be a riser in the next 2028 rankings update as his potential is starting to translate directly to production.

Hatch did a really good job for this Team Loaded VA 16u 3SSB this past weekend as they went 4-0 and he held it down for this group on the glass while being an efficient contributor from the offensive end. Hatch averaged 7.3 Points, 6.8 Rebounds, 0.5 Steals, and 1.3 Blocks per game with 58/29/71 shooting splits. Hatch is proving to be a reliable two way interior presence while the capability of knocking down shots from beyond the arc. It will be fun to watch his development over time as a high upside big showing flashes of the kind of versatility that leads to late blooming risers in the recruiting landscape. Hatch is looking to help lead this Team Loaded VA group to a championship in Adidas 3SSB as one of their feature bigs.

We saw Hatch show a lot of promise over the course of this season at Christ School as they played a true national schedule as members of the Nike EYBL Scholastic. Hatch is a young big man with great size and touch around the basket with the ability to knock down some shots from the outside as well. He’ll be playing this spring/summer with Team Loaded Virginia 3SSB 16u and he’ll have the chance to really show that growth fro the experience he had this year vs kids his own age/grade. Hatch continues to grow into his lanky frame which will only allow him to become more impactful on the interior competing for rebounds in traffic. Hatch has great instincts as a rim protector along with the ability to make outside shots, that’s a rare duo of skills that will be valuable moving forward as he progresses through the rest of his high school and into his college career. He’s progressing in many areas quickly and is still producing at a quality level right now.

A new face in the state of North Carolina at Christ School who should make a splash as he makes his debut at No. 14 in the latest rankings update for the 2028 class; he’s a sizeable prospect at 6-foot-10 finding his way at the stretch-forward position; averaged 10.8 ppg, 6.6 rpg and 1.0 bpg this past season with Phillip Simmons High in Charleston, SC and put together four double-doubles as a freshman

Hatch is a versatile forward with a projectable modern skill set. He’s agile and quick for his size, showing real mobility on the perimeter and upside as a switchable defender. His second-jump ability is outstanding, allowing him to contest shots and clean up misses with energy. Offensively, he is a worm in space and can find his way to the rack as a cutter and offensive rebounder. I believe that Hatch did not get to showcase his full offensive potential this past weekend, based on what I have seen from him in the DMV Live events.
