Expert Analysis
Eric Wallace | Prep Hoops Scout
Another talented prospect from North Carolina, Moses is a high flying wing with big time athleticism. He thrives in transition and in open space, where he can use his explosiveness to finish above the rim. He also showed the ability to score in the midrange and is continuing to improve as a perimeter shooter. An excellent rebounder with defensive versatility, he disrupts passing lanes and consistently turns defense into offense.

Moses is one of North Carolina’s best all around athletes along with his incredibly high motor that allows him to showcase that athleticism with a high rate of frequency over the course of the game. He is going to be playing with Team Loaded VA 3SSB 16u this spring/summer alongside other very talented prospects that will allow him to be that two way energizer bunny. This past season at Rocky Mount, Moses averaged an impressive 18.5 Points, 10.3 Rebounds, 1.5 Assists, 1.4 Steals, and 0.9 Blocks per game on 54/17/56 shooting splits. The next step in Moses development is refining that perimeter shot and he doesn’t need to become a sniper but keeping the defense more honest will only allow him to get downhill with less resistance. Moses is productive in every setting we see him due to his physical gifts, effort, and genuine will to win. As the skill level catches up, expect Moses to garner more and more recruiting attention while making some highlights happen above the rim in the process.

Moses is one of the states top rebounding wing regardless of class and that’s due to his motor and physical gifts coming together to create a guy that is just hunting rebounds all night long. Moses is averaging 18.1 Points, 10.0 Rebounds, 1.6 Assists, 1.4 Steals, and 0.8 Blocks per game as a sophomore. Moses is also shooting 51% from the floor on the year. His ability to be an athletic physical presence allows him to dominate the boards and get downhill at a high rate of frequency. Moses should continue to develop his overall skillset as he’s showed steady growth in those areas. He’s looking to lead Rocky Mount on a deep playoff run as a Sophomore this season.

While playing up in the 17U divisiond, with his hometown Showtime Elite squad, he looked the par as one of the best players in attendance. He consistently got out in transition for explosive dunks and tough finishes at the rim, leading his team to a 17U championship berth. He also showcased some improved jumpshooting mechanics knocking down a few three pointers and a couple of mid range turnarounds as well. One of the top 2028 prospects in NC.

Made quite the impression on the varsity stage with Rocky Mount this past season; put up 18.0 ppg, 6.3 rpg, 2.4 apg and 1.8 spg as a freshman; can do a little bit of everything with his athleticism and playmaking ability; a feature name to know on the 3SSB stage with Team Loaded South this summer
