Abbott played sparingly as a freshman at Centennial, but he figures to be their go-to scorer as a sophomore following a ton of losses to graduation. He's a skilled three-level scorer who can create quality looks for himself off the dribble, getting to his spots, especially in the mid-range, and elevating into his jumper. He should emerge as one of the better players in the CIML this season.

Wolf is another player who didn't get a ton of run last season, but who should step into a significant role this year. He has great size on the wing, and like the other Wolf boys who have come through Cedar Falls, he uses his length effectively on both ends of the floor. He's a good shooter from 3-point range and can defend multiple positions.

Aguirre had a great sophomore year for the Hawks, averaging 13.3 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 3.1 assists a game on 46-42-70 shooting. He has a pure stroke from 3-point range and shoots it at a high clip both off the dribble and the catch. Following a number of losses to graduation, Aguirre should have a ton of opportunity this year to put up huge numbers.

The top-ranked player in the state, Harrington ended his recruitment very early and committed to play his college ball at Iowa State three years from now. A 6-6 wing who can really, really shoot the rock, he's also a gifted defender and playmaker who just keeps getting better and better. It's not outside of the realm of possibility to see Harrington in the McDonald's All-American conversation in a few years.

He's a fluid athlete who can play downhill and attack the rim off the bounce, but he's also really good as a shooting threat both off the dribble and the catch. He averaged 11.0 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.8 steals a game as a freshman for the Roughriders.

Rus spent his freshman year down in Arizona at AZ Compass Prep, and has now moved back home to Eldridge, giving North Scott the top two players in the state's 2027 class.
Dau's offensive game is still very much a work in progress, but there is no denying his impact on the defensive end of the floor, blocking 2.5 shots a game as a sophomore. His presence in the paint allows the Little Cyclones' guards to play aggressively on the perimeter, knowing they have an eraser behind them.
