Class 3A: Stars to Watch (Part 2)

Oskaloosa won just seven games last season, but North was a bright spot, averaging 12.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.3 steals per game, leading the team in scoring and assists. He's a skilled ball-handler and shot creator off the dribble who can take over games with his ability to handle it.     The third piece of ADM's three-headed attack, Shull is a high-level shooter off both the dribble and the catch, knocking down 42.7% of his 3-point attempts as a junior. He can play with or without the ball in his hands, serving as a very reliable secondary playmaker and shot creator.     Harr put up massive numbers as a junior for the Bulldogs, averaging 17.5 points, 13.1 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.0 steals, and 2.4 blocks per game. A physical, athletic 6-7 big man with soft hands, great vision, and deft touch around the bucket, he's a force in the painted area on both ends of the floor.     McDowell enjoyed a breakout junior year for the Cyclones, averaging 17.3 points, 2.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.5 steals per game on 43-38-76 shooting splits. He's an athletic guard who can score inside and out, and his toughness allows him to defend multiple spots on the floor.     A 6-3 wing with a great feel for the game, Stensland is a pure scorer who can fill it up from anywhere on the floor, and he does so at an efficient rate. He put up 17.0 points per game as a junior while posting impressive 53-39-86 shooting splits. He doesn't force anything, doing a nice job letting the game come to him and getting his shots within the flow of the offense.     A lead guard with great size at 6-5, Bryte is able to see over the defense to get his teammates involved, dishing out a team-high 6.4 assists per game last season and posting an impressive 2.46 assist-to-turnover ratio. He stuffs the stat sheet on both ends of the floor, averaging 12.9 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 2.1 steals per game in addition to his passing.     Drahos was one of three double-figure scorers last season for the Bluejays, putting up 14.6 points, 4.3 assists, and 3.0 steals per game. With the other two big-time scorers graduating and taking their 36.2 points per game with them, he'll have plenty of opportunities with the ball in his hands this season.     Perez-Hietbrink had a very productive sophomore season for the Warriors, averaging 14.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.9 steals per game. He led the team in scoring and steals, and was second in rebounding and assists.     Guzman was impressive as a junior for the Bloodhounds, leading the team in scoring (14.6) and steals (2.3), while ranking second in assists (4.1) and assist-to-turnover ratio (1.76). He can play with or without the ball in his hands, getting his teammates involved or moving without the ball and knocking down shots.     A big-time scorer, Ehlinger averaged 21.8 points per game as a junior for the Cardinals. He's at his best when he's playing off the dribble and getting into the teeth of the defense, where he's a threat to score or find open teammates with his good vision.
