Berea HS: The Bulldogs (8-17) last year have fallen on tough times over the past few years. Senior guards [player_tooltip player_id='1419744' first='Destin' last='Eichelberger'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1932519' first='Kingston' last='Brown'] are around for one last go around.

Blue Ridge HS: The Fighting Tigers won a Class 3A State Championship just a few years back with Justin Bailey. Senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2630158' first='Paul' last='Bishop'] is back to lead the way after averaging 13.3 ppg last season. Junior point guard Trey Bradley will look to add onto his stats of 6.2 ppg from a season ago.

Brasier Middle College: The Bengals finished at (12-10) and have senior Ridge Bryson back after averaging 12 ppg last season.

Carolina HS: The small school located in Greenville lost the Jamerson brothers to St Joseph's Catholic.

Christ Church: The Cavaliers make the move up to Class 3A after winning the Class 1A State Championship a season ago over Bethune-Bowman HS. The Cavaliers have plenty of pieces in the puzzle back for Head Coach John Butler. [player_tooltip player_id='2361714' first='Jonathan' last='Perry'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1807305' first='David' last='Dixon'] both return to provide plenty of leadership. Perry an attacking left-handed guard and Dixon plays really well on the perimeter and seems to be a very deceptive athlete at times on both ends of the court.

The talent surely doesn't stop there with the Cavaliers. [player_tooltip player_id='2299737' first='Adam' last='Brown'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2630460' first='Anthony' last='Atkins'] Brown plays his best basketball looking to get into the paint and causing problems. Adam likes to slash to the rack and really plays active on both ends of the floor. Atkins can score the ball going to the cup and creating offense for others.

[player_tooltip player_id='2299739' first='Reid' last='Hipp'] plays around the bucket with the ability to play out in the short corners and elbow. Hipp has no problems mixing it up and drawing contact along the way. He understands on how to seal off defenders and finish with both hands around the bucket. [player_tooltip player_id='2246933' first='Bennett' last='Cooke'] likes to operate his game out behind the three-point line at times for open looks. Jude Hall is a big-time football prospect who moonlights on the basketball team for a few months out of the year. Elijah Garrett a left-handed blue collar brings another option for the Cavaliers to rebound and score around the bucket. Forward [player_tooltip player_id='1997563' first='Joshua' last='Butler'] is the youngest of the Butler brothers. Joshua will provide some useful minutes for the Cavaliers when called upon this season.

Eastside HS: The Eagles have a new Head Coach in Greenville area legend former Louisville player Everick Sullivan. The Eagles will have to replace Justin Ray scoring output with his little brother [player_tooltip player_id='1490037' first='Brandon' last='Ray'] this season.

Fountain Inn HS: The Fury finished last season at (18-11). The Fury has a very good nucleus back with Senior forward [player_tooltip player_id='1239535' first='Amaziah' last='Austin']. Austin brings a player who can play-inside at times and simply delivers results down on the block. Amaziah constantly brings production in scoring and rebounding the ball at a good clip on both ends of the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='1888608' first='Marlon' last='Lewis'] is a quick leaper and really does a nice job of challenging and altering shots on the defensive end of the floor. [player_tooltip player_id='2299081' first='Terry' last='Cunningham'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2398922' first='EJ' last='Lundy'] should provide good production from the backcourt this season. Cunningham has a nice stroke from behind the three-point line while Lundy will look to lead the show with the departure of [player_tooltip player_id='1419742' first='DJ' last='Martin'] to Laurens HS.

The Fury will be in Class 4A this season with the likes of Wren HS, Westside HS, Laurens HS, Emerald HS and Southside HS in region play.

Greenville HS: The Red Raiders find themselves up in Class 5A this season. This off-season [player_tooltip player_id='1239534' first='Bryson' last='Drummond'] went to Mountain View Prep and [player_tooltip player_id='1489409' first='Ramani' last='Bruton'] to J.L. Mann HS primarily for football moves. [player_tooltip player_id='1738000' first='Kam' last='Smith'] moved over to Roebuck to play at Dorman HS.

Surely Head Coach Mike Anderson still has plenty of talent to make some noise in the Upstate this season. The new Class 5A Region consist of Easley HS, Greenwood HS, Hillcrest HS, J.L. Mann HS, T.L. Hanna HS and Woodmont HS.

The Red Raiders (22-5) lost in the playoffs to rival Greer HS 60-45. The Red Raiders still return plenty of talent to the forefront this season. [player_tooltip player_id='1958970' first='Frank' last='Whitley'] sat out last season after getting injured. Whitley will provide some much-needed paint presence. Frank can extend the floor with his ability to knockdown shots on the perimeter.

Senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1239536' first='Nehemiah' last='Thompkins'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1892485' first='Roman' last='Cooley'] will be counted on a lot this season. Thompkins added 6 ppg last season while Cooley averaged 15.3 ppg and 6.8 rebounds last year. Thompkins does most of his damage out on the perimeter while Cooley a left-handed forward can play-inside out with his game. Roman does a good job of finishing and collecting buckets around the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='1624061' first='Caden' last='Coleman'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2027918' first='Tucker' last='Scholl'] will provide plenty of points and production on any given game night. Coleman made the move over from Hillcrest HS while Scholl shot over 44% from 3-point range last season. Coleman picked up an offer from Coastal Carolina University back earlier this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1738001' first='Arkeis' last='Shell'] a left-handed point guard really looks to bring some excitement to the backcourt with his shifty ball-handling at times. [player_tooltip player_id='1419745' first='Israel' last='Deaver'] is a reliable shooter from behind the arch when given the opportunity. [player_tooltip player_id='2404727' first='Gavin' last='Griffin'] should be able to contribute some reliable minutes this season to the Red Raiders.

Greer HS: The Yellow Jackets finished (24-6) last year and lost to Riverside HS 58-48 in the State Playoffs. Presbyterian commit [player_tooltip player_id='1407052' first='Amare' last='Anderson'] is back after averaging 16 ppg and 3.9 rebounds a season ago. Junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1486212' first='Mikey' last='Williams Jr'] averaged 11.4 ppg and senior combo guard [player_tooltip player_id='1239537' first='Isaiah' last='Henry'] 6.1 ppg. This three-headed monster for the Yellow Jackets will cause some fits to teams this season.
