First up on my list of Guards from the Upward Stars Fall League is Jyssiah Foster Jyssiah Foster 5'9" | PG Greer | 2026 State SC . He is the embodiment of a scrappy Guard, never taking plays off and always fighting for loose balls. Foster will create havoc on the defensive end with quick hands and often capitalizes on the other end with transition scores. Jyssiah had a pair of driving assists and scored the ball well for B & G United (Greer) on Tuesday, putting up 13 points and 2 assists.

Next up on this list is Greer’s Jyssiah Foster Jyssiah Foster 5'9" | PG Greer | 2026 State SC , who plays with Upward Stars Upstate 17U. He had a very productive weekend at the Phenom Challenge including an impressive win over BBB Elite. Despite being well off on a pair of threes, Foster was aggressive in attacking the paint with quickness and spin moves. He can finish there with a floater or dump the ball off to a teammate. On the defensive end of the floor, Jyssiah moves his feet, has active hands, and will even draw charges.

Jyssiah is the other transfer in this list and he made the move from Boiling Springs to Greer. The Yellow Jackets have lots of guards on the June Roster, but Foster brings them perimeter shooting which is necessary to let some of their more ball-dominant scorers work. Jyssiah knocked down 5 3s between the two Greer games I watched this weekend including 3-6 3FG in the Gold Bracket Championship. Although the Yellow Jackets lost in the final, all of Foster’s 3PM felt important and helped keep them within striking range in the second half.
