Gavin and the Red Raiders aim to repeat in 5A Division Two with a win on Thursday. He is much-improved from a year ago, however, transforming from an athletic role player into one of the toughest and most polished forwards in the state. Griffin more than doubled his per-game numbers from 2024-25 and is now racking up over 13 points and 7.5 rebounds a night in 2025-26. He is more than just a presence around the rim, though, because he has a solid mid-range jumper and is a tone-setter with his hustle on both ends.
