These top ten are based on college potential, which often exceeds individual statistics. Every member of the top ten holds at least one D1 offer and most hold several. Here’s a look at the updated 2025 rankings.
Malachi is a consensus top 50 or higher prospect in America right now and could get even higher before graduation. He’s the best rim protector in Kentucky and his offense just keeps getting better, overall.
EJ had another really good season for Lloyd, averaging a double double and scoring at nearly 60% from the field. He’s got a bunch of offers but I think he already cut it down as he heads into his last AAU season.
Dawson is an efficient scorer who shot a good percentage from deep and is primed for a big AAU season this Spring and Summer. Tre is a good passer who has a chance to impress with the ball in his hands.
Highlights
Carter doesn’t get mentioned enough for as good as he is. Probably because he lives in the 16th region and has been committed to Liberty for nearly a year,. Regardless, Zander is a talented big guard who will push for playing time at Liberty when he gets there.
Highlights
Cochran is a multi level scorer who averaged 16.5 points and 8.8 rebounds with an efficient shooting split of 55/37/74. Holding multiple D1 offers heading into the AAU season, Isaiah has the potential to raise his stock even more.
Edmonds transferred to Trinity before the season started and took a little while to get eligible and settle in. When the game is on the line, Julius is among the best go to scorers in the state and can score the ball on the block or facing up.
Holding early offers from EKU and ETSU, Huff had a big season for Harlan County and made Second team All State. One of the better shooting point guards in Kentucky, Maddox could see his stock take off with a big AAU season.
Highlights
One of the most exciting players in the class, Boone is athletic and can get white hot from three and make several threes in a row. Melo has a chance to garner a bunch of new offers and interest this AAU season as he plays with Team Thad on the EYBL.
A “do it all” wing, Butler averaged 18 points and 9 rebounds per game as a Junior while shooting 48/37/70. When Eli Finley Eli Finley 6’2″ | PG Calloway County | 2025 State KY was injured the first half of the season, Jonah showed potential as a ball handling playmaker too.
Highlights
One of the most fun players to watch in the class, Sperry has a long list of college offers and could rack up more this summer if he gets to showcase his athleticism and playmaking all season on the EYBL. Austin may be the best in the state at getting into the paint on offense.
