Melo is coming off a strong opening weekend in the EYBL and was offered by Miami (OH) earlier today. An athletic slasher and solid shooter, Boone is primed for a monster spring and summer where he could rack up a lot of offers.
Decker has had a big time start to his final AAU season and has shown he can play above the rim or step out and play on the perimeter. Justice has opened some eyes with his play in April and looks like he’ll have plenty of new college suitors before the summer ends.
Blakeman has worked to improve his overall athleticism to the point where he is routinely dunking multiple times per game. Hayden is also shooting the three at a high clip and should attract plenty of college interest if his play continues the way he’s been trending so far.
When I first saw Mabe a couple of weeks ago, I was worried that the heavy knee brace he was sporting would hamper his athleticism but Jordan is still bouncy and an excellent rim protector. Coming off an ACL sprain that cost him a large chunk of his season, Mabe is still adjusting to the big brace and his stock should continue to trend up as he gets back to 100%.
Highlights
Mukadi is the last of the Evangel trio that once made up the biggest front court in Kentucky but he looks like he’s ready to embrace a bigger role on offense. Watching Ben in Louisville this weekend, he was continually carving out space and finishing around the rim. He’s also an excellent rebounder with a solid motor.
