Hayden has had a long and decorated career for Green County and holds several scholarship offers across multiple levels. A bigger wing, Blakeman is an underrated athlete and should be a solid college player wherever he signs.

It was a thriller back and forth and unfortunately Green County fell one point short against Hazard. Blakeman was the obvious standout for Green County as he played with a ton of confidence on both ends of the court. Knocking down a handful of shots off the catch, Blakeman made shots whenever it seemed like Hazard seemed to be pulling away. When Hazard went to a zone Blakeman did a nice job of moving without the ball to get himself open to shoot or pass through the defense and get the ball into the paint. One of the top wings in Kentucky’s 2025 class, we’ll see if Green County has better luck in March as they have the potential to make it to Rupp.

Another Griffin Elite wing, Blakeman also stood out in the game I caught. Playing at his own speed and under control, colleges will love that Blakeman plays off two feet in the paint. Nothing was forced in his game, he hit time and space shots, attacked off DHO’s and was patient in the paint. With his size, shooting ability and feel, Blakeman will be a hand in glove fit at the scholarship level, likely either at a Division II or NAIA program. Kentucky Christian and Campbellsville have already offered Blakeman and I expect more similar level programs to throw their names in the hat to try and secure his committment.

Blakeman has worked to improve his overall athleticism to the point where he is routinely dunking multiple times per game. Hayden is also shooting the three at a high clip and should attract plenty of college interest if his play continues the way he’s been trending so far.

Hayden has gotten more athletic and started shooting the three at a high clip over the last year. Now finishing above the rim consistently, Blakeman was in the conversation for best player in the 5th region this season and is the likely front runner to be regional player of the year in 2025.

Blakeman’s combination of athleticism, shooting, and size is lethal. He has deep range and can shoot over defenders, which helped him make 38% of his 3-point attempts this season. He looks to throw down posterizing dunks when he gets near the basket. His high motor is displayed while corralling rebounds on both ends.

Blakeman has been one of the top scoring players in this 2025 class over the course of his career and isn’t slowing down anytime soon. Averaging 23 points and 9 rebounds per night with impressive shooting splits of 58/50/80, Hayden has become an even more efficient scorer than in years past.

Blakeman has been one of the biggest scorers in the 2025 class over the last few years and been the go to player for Green County since he first put on the Dragon jersey. Capable of getting to the rim or getting hot from three, Hayden is a top player in the 5th region.

Hayden is known for his scoring ability and has been one of the top scorers in the 2025 class for a while now. On Saturday he also showed improved rebounding (especially out of area rebounds) and a willingness to push the pace with the ball in his hands after a rebound. Blakeman also has slimmed down a little and is moving better on the defensive end.
