I’m not sure any Senior in Kentucky sacrificed more this season as a result of transfers into their school than Marr has. Jayden is a selfless player who impacts winning in multiple ways and doesn’t need a ton of shots to get his points. He’s an effective defender and I think he can develop into a pass first point guard if given the time and opportunity. I’m not sure what options Jayden has right now but he’s a player who could end up a better college player than he is in high school.

Green County has a lot of talent after adding some 2026 transfers but don’t forget about their 2025 returners who are key reasons why they’ve been a winning program. Green County has nice chemistry and it shows with how often they hit Marr on backdoor cuts for easy layups. Combine that with a couple steals that Marr turned into transition shots and Marr didn’t need to do anything fancy to score efficiently. Nice to see players who don’t need to dominate the ball to have an impact on the game.

Jayden climbs from 63rd overall to 46th with a really good summer of AAU and school ball. Marr doesn’t get a lot of headlines but he’s consistent and can score the ball all over the court. A good athlete and capable defender, Jayden needs to be on the radar for all in-state D3 and NAIA schools as he can help a college team win a lot of games.

Marr has been one of my favorite players in the class for a year or more and did nothing to change that opinion on Saturday. Jayden is a very effective scorer who is very comfortable pulling up and scoring in the midrange. He has a throwback game and played hard all day long thanks to the stamina that he has from being a good cross country runner.

Marr had a solid outing at the camp and earned a spot in the top 40 all-star game. A strong wing guard who scored 15 PPG as a Sophomore, it was good to see Marr against some top competition at an event like this with talented players from all over the state. I thought Marr played with good defensive instincts that allowed him to get a handful of steals when I was watching him play. A good shooter from the outside, Marr hit one really tough off the bounce pull-up from 25 feet. Based on what I saw on Saturday, Marr seems like a prospect small college programs will target starting next spring.

While his teammate Keaton Hughes Keaton Hughes 6'7" | C Owensboro | 2025 State KY held things down on the interior, Marr was the perimeter threat for the 4-0 New Outlawz 2025. He averaged 12 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals while making winning plays on both ends of the floor. The 6’2″ guard is a talented playmaker that was excellent down in Louisville at the Grit Region Kick-Off as well.

The 6-2 sophomore combo guard is very versatile and showed his 3-point shooting display this afternoon in a win over Rock Summit Basketball. Marr finished with a game-high 25 points on 5 made 3-pointers. Marr was also very efficient in distributing the basketball as well dishing out five assists in the game as well.
