Kylan Richie Kylan Richie 6’3″ | PF Bullitt East | 2025 KY is a strong forward who loves getting to the rim and playing off two feet. He can finish on either side of the rim comfortably. Even though he would rather get into the paint and score, he can stretch the floor and knock down 3s. Really strong going to his right hand, and especially turning to his right in the post. In his game today there was about a 4 minute stretch where he took over and was getting any shot he wanted. This stretch really kept his team in the game. They ended up losing by 4 in a close game but still a really good showing by Richie.

Braden Roberts Braden Roberts 6’5″ | SF Ravenwood | 2025 TN is a big athletic left handed forward. Loves playing physically in the post but can also play as a trailing shooter or driver. Led his team in points and rebounds in game 1 on Sunday. On defensive he is active in passing lanes looking for any pass he can get his hands on. Can guard any position on ball with his length and physicality. Late in the game he knocked down 2 big free throws and then went down and got a big steal to ice the game. One of my favorite players to watch on the weekend.
Highlights
Mekhi Lloyd is another really physical forward that lives in the paint. Lloyd was relentless on the glass the entire game, fighting for any rebound that was close to him. The athletic forward loves attacking baseline with his left hand and hop stepping right at the basket and going up strong. He also has really good vision in transition hitting teammates for layups. Towards the end of the 1st half in game 1 Sunday Lloyd went out with an injury, but was good to play again the 2nd half and came back in and dominated again.

Emersen Davis is a quick and shifty point guard that was the best player on the court in a big game vs NYBA today. The smaller left handed guard was in attack mode the entire game. On offense he has an explosiveness that is hard to stay in front of. Even though he’s left handed he is strong going either way. On defense today he accepted the challenge of guarding NYBA’s best player. Once he did this they made their comeback and would go on to win by double digits. I loved that even though his workload on offense was high, he still gave it his all on defense and really turned the game around.

Lorenzo Staley is a super tall and long forward. Defense is where Staley really shows his impact on the game. He uses his length to contest any shot at the basket and get a ton of blocks. Even though guarding smaller players isn’t ideal, he is athletic enough to keep them in front of him. Offensively he is really good at catching the at the free throw line and turning and kicking out to teammates for 3. When he faces up looking to attack he is strong going right and finishing off two feet. Staley is also a monster on the glass, and it is hard to keep him from getting 2nd chance opportunities.
