<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Below is a preview of five <em>“must see”</em> PIAA state tournament games taking place this week in southeastern Pennsylvania.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Tue., March 12th…Unionville vs. Dallas:</strong> Unionville's [player_tooltip player_id='2383329' first='Nick' last='Diehl'] (6'7”; SF) is an under the radar prospect who posted a monster opening game in the state tourney – 18 points, 15 rebounds and 3 blocks. Running with Diehl are senior standouts Charlie Kammeier, [player_tooltip player_id='1848627' first='James' last='Anderson'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1850283' first='Ryan' last='Brown']. All three of them can score in bunches. Stretch-4 prospect [player_tooltip player_id='1493066' first='James' last='Brenner'] is one of the top 2026s in the region. For Dallas college coaches will want to watch 3-point sniper Zach Paczewski and combo guard Mikey Cumbo. Both prospects dropped 20+ points in their 5A first-round game. In that win Paczewski totaled 28 points on the strength of 8 made threes. <em>Tipoff is at 7:30PM at Bethlehem HS.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Tue., March 12th…Allentown Central Catholic vs. Archbishop Carroll:</strong> ACCS is the District 11-4A champion and Carroll is loaded with young talent. So, college coaches and scouts will not want to miss this 4A 2nd Round game. [player_tooltip player_id='1486760' first='Jahrel' last='Vigo'] is the No. 1 option for Allentown CC. In the 1st round he posted 35 points and eclipsed the career 1,000-point mark. Power forward [player_tooltip player_id='1130840' first='David' last='Fridia'] and 3-point ace [player_tooltip player_id='1865351' first='Lucas' last='Mushrush'] will be major contributors as well. Carroll point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1608257' first='Ian' last='Williams'] (13 points &amp; 6 dimes per; 2nd Team All-PCL) and wing [player_tooltip player_id='1454254' first='Luca' last='Foster'] (14 ppg. &amp; 7.7 rpg.) headline a scary talented group of 2026s and 2027s. Their starting group also includes DI prospects [player_tooltip player_id='1406770' first='Nasir' last='Ralls'], Darrell Davis (2027) and [player_tooltip player_id='1406767' first='Munir' last='Greig'] (2027). <em>Tipoff is at 7:30PM at Norristown HS.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Wed., March 13th…Trinity vs. Executive Education ACS:</strong> Trinity's lineup boasts standout guard [player_tooltip player_id='1865345' first='Owen' last='Schlager'] who is a walking bucket (23 ppg.). In the District 3-3A tournament he posted back-to-back 30-point games. Included in that stretch of ridiculous play was a 35-point (2 3PM), 10-rebound double-double. Schlager will get plenty of support from combo guard [player_tooltip player_id='1890473' first='Reece' last='Brown']. Executive captured the D11-3A championship thanks to an outstanding run of games from scoring point guard Rylan Muniz. Across his last four games Muniz averaged 20 points as well as 5 made triples per contest. He remains one of the best uncommitted 2024s in the region. Shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='1764304' first='Gabe' last='Hornberger'], combo guard [player_tooltip player_id='2047680' first='Jaden' last='Shipley'] and 6'9” power forward [player_tooltip player_id='1850279' first='Lamine' last='Sanoh'] are other DI prospects in the EEACS lineup…<em>Tipoff is at 7:30PM at Hamburg HS.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Wed., March 13th…Lower Merion vs. Archbishop Wood:</strong> This intriguing contest features one of the top 6A public-school programs in the region versus an annual 6A state title contender. This year LM racked up a 26-1 record as they captured the District 1-6A as well as the Central League titles. Combo guard wing [player_tooltip player_id='1850321' first='John' last='Mobley'] (15.6 ppg.) and small forward [player_tooltip player_id='1123894' first='Jayden' last='Robinson'] have taken their games to a new level during the post season. Plus, LM boasts an outstanding trio of perimeter prospects in shooting guard Adam Herrenkohl (14.5 ppg.), combo guard [player_tooltip player_id='2120393' first='Owen' last='McCabe'] (15 ppg.) and point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2699527' first='Carson' last='Kasmer'] (11.5 ppg.). LM's entire lineup can get out in transition and drain threes. Wood's lineup needs no introduction, but here we go. Miami commit Jahlil Bethea (23 ppg.; PCL Co-POY) and Drexel Commit [player_tooltip player_id='1483181' first='Josh' last='Reed'] (199 ppg. &amp; 8 rpg.) are the headliners. Those two are backed by a host of college prospects including [player_tooltip player_id='1188627' first='Milan' last='Dean'], [player_tooltip player_id='1382983' first='Deuce' last='Maxey'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1279655' first='Michael' last='Green']. <em>Tipoff is at 7:30PM at Bensalem HS.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Wed., March 13th…Parkland vs. Chambersburg:</strong> Parkland's all-everything shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='1123885' first='Nick' last='Coval'] (Davidson commit) has posted an amazing senior campaign. He averaged 22 ppg.; eclipsed the career 2,000-point mark and was the East Penn Conference POY for the second straight season. Now he has Parkland on track for a deep 6A title run. Assisting Coval with this quest will be athletic wing [player_tooltip player_id='1188232' first='Zaire' last='Smaltz'] and multi-skilled guard [player_tooltip player_id='2322849' first='Jayden' last='Thomas']. Spearheading the Chambersburg attack will be superstar wing prospect [player_tooltip player_id='1874203' first='Jai'tavius' last='Kelly']. He is an athletic three level scorer with bounce who posted 40 points in Chambersburg's 1st Round win. Playing off Kelly is 6'4” wing Jermere Jones and power forward / center [player_tooltip player_id='2240567' first='Ethan' last='Wolgemuth'] (King's College commit). <em>Tipoff is at 7:30PM at Central Dauphin HS.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
