-Thought he was really effective in his minutes off the bench for the Warriors as an athletic guard defender that did a great job generating ball pressure both off the ball and at the POA. Shipley is a super athletic off-ball guard that uses his quickness and strength to cede ground so he doesn’t get called for the block foul before timing in a swoop in at the ball perfectly to collect steals. Shipley spaced the floor well with his shooting, got downhill, and played within himself. If he can continue to make his stifling defense a calling card, he should enjoy a very productive summer to give him some positive momentum heading into the season.

Shipley is an athletic guard prospect that boasts strong 2-way play. After performing well for a ranked program through most of the year, Jaden looks to get active on the AAU scene with We R1. There should be more opportunity available to him this summer as some of the top guys will be heading to college. Jaden is strong with a decent handle, he can get to the basket well and finish. I expect Shipley to leave a great impact for We R1 and their stacked squad. They will look to him to make that next step up.

Shipley is a long and dynamic guard with a projectable frame that showed his upside on both ends of the floor. He caught an oop in transition, smoothly slashed to the rim to finish at the rim through contact and got a help strip from behind that led to free throws for Mt. Zion. He’s a bit under the radar now, but could see a significant shift this season.

Zion Blue team looking to make some noise in the MPSC. Shipley can get to the rack with ease, knock down open jumpers, and finish with the best of them. If he’s able to play with more consistency from night to night, Shipley should continue his rise in the rankings
