An immediate impact player, Williams is firmly the #2 option for a top-10 program in Chaparral. Efficient in all areas, he has already asserted himself as a dependable shotmaker who is clutch in tight games. His positional strength and beneficial athleticism has kept the guard in a tier of his own through his initial season in 6A.
Highlights
Dotson’s strength and consistency beyond the arc have aided George Washington, who remains a sneaky, high upside program. He remains one of the leaders in 6A 2027s for free throws, in part from decisionmaking but largely due to his physical advantages to push around opponents. The shooting guard’s complementary impact has added much needed depth to this group, certainly a valuable asset for years to come.
Shepard competes on the defensive side, putting in consistent energy while going toe to toe with older opponents. Following a defensive play from himself or teammate, he is consistently among the first down the floor, willing to make himself available on the break.
Howery has taken advantage of his role, among the leaders in this age group for assists and rebounds. Capable matching up with both backcourt positions, the guard has carved out a niche based on his opportunity within the depth chart. Although not the first or second scoring option, the guard has had no trouble remaining impactful and dependable.

Already a comfortable shotmaker on all three levels, David has immense upside, particularly on the offensive end, given his height and shot creation off the bounce. While no.3 Rock Canyon has found a mold with their top-7, David has found ways to consistently crack the rotation despite this team’s reputable depth.

Coleman has provided steady impact as the lone freshman receiving opportunity on this Eaglecrest team currently slated at 8th in the standings. Already effective within his role, the guard has been efficient spacing the floor, primarily from a standstill. Other areas of impact have been his defensive instincts, active on the help side to trap or deflect a pass. He looks to be a high floor asset whose dependability under different circumstances make him a worthwhile option for a winning program.
Cobb’s sheer size and athleticism have added another dimension to what Denver South can throw at opponents. At roughly 6’7, the forward has found immediate value grabbing rebounds and rolling hard to the basket. Already a capable above the rim finisher, Cobb can punish smaller matchups by throwing down slams following the immediate pass. His defensive potential is the biggest key for him over this playoff stretch, particularly the quick help rotations and patience contesting shots in the paint.
Smith has the ball on a string, allowing him to fully maximize his low center of gravity to attack the paint. Fully understanding the opportunities he has within his role, the guard is a selfless playmaker, constantly keeping his head up for the next passing read. His consistency throughout the season has landed him 5th among all 6A 2027s.
