The lead guard controlled the flow throughout the whole matchup, through timely plays on both ends. Either coming up with key blocks or shot contests on the defensive end, he held his own from helpside or at the point of attack. Crawford made a significant argument for being highlighted for his defensive achievements, however the sheer volume of assists in this match was eye opening. On offense, the senior guard recognized advantageous matchups, often attacking the rim for fouls. Thanks to a quick slip screen from forward

The CU commit did a great job putting the opposing defense on their heels, active faciliating when provided a passing lane. Providing excellent pace off the initial defensive rebound, the guard gets out quickly to send outlet passes or take it coast to coast. He was particulary selfless in this matchup, showing notable skill on one-handed skip passes from one side of the halfcourt to the other. Defensively, Crawford did well swatting away shots at the rim, although help side was the bulk of his defensive possessions as nobody wants to attack him downhill.

has been a standout during the AAU season playing up on Colorado Hawks Adidas Gauntlet squad. He has great size for a guard standing at a lengthy 6’6 and he uses his height to survey the floor and has great vision. With the ball in his hands, Andrew is super crafty, he can score from all three levels with a smooth game. Near the rim, he uses his good height and length to finish above and through bigs. Andrew has continued to show he is deserving of the number one spot in the class of 2024.
