Croon had everyone in the gym asking who he was. Thing about it is this is not the first Prep Hoops showcase that he looked like one of the best players there. He’s skilled and competitive and let’s face it, he’s about a bucket. He scored the basketball, a ton on the event and might’ve had Top-3 points on the day. He controlled stretches of 3-on-3 as he couldn’t miss from deep, then carried it into 5-on-5 with coast-to-coast finishes, he got inside of the defense and had some creative takes. At one point, Croon ripped off roughly four baskets in a row and essentially took the game over himself. There were multiple times where he turned a “oh no” play into a “that’s tough.” He was young and not playing a ton last year, but right now, it might be time to give him a look and see what he can do. I think he’s a gamer. 

Croon showed his value as a quick, aggressive wing who consistently got to his spots and made things happen. He played with confidence, knocking down his jumper while also attacking the rim and finishing through traffic. His ability to change speeds helped him create space and keep defenders off balance. On the defensive end he brought toughness and energy, making it difficult for opponents to get comfortable. Croon competed on every possession and made an impact on both ends, showing he can be a reliable two way presence

Croon made noise at the showcase with his two-way ability and confidence on both ends. He’s a competitive guard who makes winning plays, can play and defend multiple positions, and can take over stretches of a game. Croon’s defensive energy sets the tone, and he’s efficient offensively with a balanced inside-out approach. Croon will be entering a strong system that emphasizes growth, so it will be a bit more of a project but he looks like a player built for long-term success. Croon easily makes this list as a player to watch as we continue to update. 

Croon absolutely commanded attention at the showcase with a complete high energy game. He did everything to set himself apart as a dynamic player. He locked in on defense, sprinted the floor in transition and relentlessly attacked the basket. He showed an impressive ability to score in any way possible, whether it was finishing through contact, hitting contested shots, or creating opportunities for teammates when defenses collapsed. His constant movement, toughness and competitive spirit made him a matchup nightmare, and his ability to influence the game in every phase kept the momentum on his team’s side. Croon’s performance left no doubt that he’s a versatile, impact player who can change the flow of a game in an instant
