Perez was shifty, being able to use his tight handle to beat defenders with his quickness. He was able to finish at the rim and shoot over taller defenders.

Perez was able to crash the boards and was finishing at the rim throughout the day. He had the ability to create off of the dribble to get the ball into the paint. He was one of the standouts on team 6 and was able to score when he wanted and was able to get his teammates some good looks as well.
