Tue., February 13th…Central Bucks West vs. Upper Dublin: CB West (17-6) is quietly having a tremendous season and have qualified for the District 1-6A tourney. Now in the Suburban One championship game they will face an Upper Dublin (20-3) team that has been making headlines all season. CB West will rely heavily on hard-nosed point guard Matt Engle to control the tempo and score when needed. Running with Engle will be standout forward Sam Jankowski and shooting guard Roman Kulesa. Both of can hit for 15+ points in a given game. Keep an eye on CB West's under the radar prospect [player_tooltip player_id='2478623' first='Julian' last='Phillips'] too. UD's lineup needs no introduction, but here goes. Shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='1269299' first='Ryan' last='Mulroy'] can score at all three levels. Floor general [player_tooltip player_id='1888851' first='Kobe' last='Bazemore'] excels in transition and creating off the dribble. [player_tooltip player_id='2047682' first='Idris' last='Rines'] is a 6'4', 200-pound point-forward who creates serious match-up issues. Finally, wing Brady Fogle can hit shots from all over the court. Tip-off is at 7:30PM at Holy Family Univ.

Wed., February 14th…Penn Charter at Episcopal Academy: If Penn Charter wins this contest, the Quakers will capture their first outright Inter-Ac title in 20 years. A win by EA would create a three-way tie for the 2023-24 Inter-Ac hardware. PC will be led by a pair of top 20 ranked juniors in point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1136565' first='Jake' last='West'] and stretch-4 [player_tooltip player_id='2235863' first='Matt' last='Gilhool']. Running with that duo are DI prospects [player_tooltip player_id='1271429' first='Kai' last='Shinholster'] and Jamal Hicke Jr. College coaches will also want to watch PC's young buck Ryan Carter (2028). Opposing teams know that the No. 1 option at EA is shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='1188249' first='Kevin' last='McCarthy'] (Army commit). However, two other prospects – point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2028258' first='Matt' last='McCarthy'] and wing [player_tooltip player_id='1454261' first='Reggie' last='King'] -- have played outstanding hoops for this squad of late. Also keep an eye on EA shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='2047831' first='Langston' last='Foster']. Tip-off is at 4:00PM

Wed., February 14th…Bonner & Prendergast at Archbishop Carroll: This game will pit Bonner's size and experience against Carroll' speed and youth. For Bonner, 6'6” small forward [player_tooltip player_id='1116025' first='Touari' last='“Deuce” Ketner'] (18 ppg. & 9 rpg.) and 6'5” wing [player_tooltip player_id='1477716' first='Kevin' last='Rucker'] (17.5 ppg. & 5 rpg.) are going to give Carroll fits. Guards [player_tooltip player_id='1589139' first='Reggie' last='Selden, Jr.'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1187903' first='Kyree' last='Womack'] will provide the backcourt scoring punch for Bonner. Carroll point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1608257' first='Ian' last='Williams'] (15 points & 6 dimes per) orchestrates their up-tempo game. Williams can produce points at all three levels and is also a creative distributor. Wing [player_tooltip player_id='1454254' first='Luca' last='Foster'] (13 ppg. & 7 rpg.) is one of the elite transition players in the region. DI prospects [player_tooltip player_id='1406770' first='Nasir' last='Ralls'], Darrell Davis (2027) and [player_tooltip player_id='1406767' first='Munir' last='Greig'] (2027) give Carroll additional firepower from the perimeter.

Thurs., February 15th…Radnor vs. Lower Merion: For the third straight season it is the Raptors vs. the Aces in the Central League championship game. Radnor won last year's title bout. However, LM (22-1; 17-0) defeated the Raptors (19-3; 14-3) back in January in their only match-up of this season. Radnor's starting five is an extremely athletic group with decent size. Point guard Kessler Cox (12.7 ppg.), small forward [player_tooltip player_id='2383175' first='Elijah' last='Sellers'] (11 ppg.), point-forward Henry Pierce, combo guard [player_tooltip player_id='1287326' first='Michael' last='Savadove'] and wing [player_tooltip player_id='1601189' first='Sawyer' last='Smith'] are all 6'1” or taller. The same goes for their key reserves in senior shooting guards Alex McFadden and Owen Smith. LM has found tremendous success behind their five perimeter player lineups. Their starters can get out in transition and torch the nets from behind the arc. Wing [player_tooltip player_id='1850321' first='John' last='Mobley'] (15.6 ppg.), shooting guard Adam Herrenkohl (14.5 ppg.), combo guard [player_tooltip player_id='2120393' first='Owen' last='McCabe'] (15 ppg.) and point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2699527' first='Carson' last='Kasmer'] (11.5 ppg.) comprise a balanced attack. Hybrid-forward [player_tooltip player_id='1123894' first='Jayden' last='Robinson'] (6'4”) will be a major factor in this contest too. Tip-off is at 8:00PM at Marple-Newtown HS.
