This LSU commit is the No. 1 rated prospect in our Class of 2025 rankings as well as the reigning Inter-Ac Player of the Year and a Top 75 prospect nationally. Gilhool is a stretch-4 style prospect who averaged 14.8 points to go along with 10 rebounds per night during his junior campaign. He owns an accurate jump shot with 3-point range, is a tremendous pick-n-roll player and can score on the low blocks. Gilhool runs the floor well, so he is a transition threat too. Gilhool can also operate out of the high post as scoring threat or distributor. His size, positioning skills and non-stop motor enable Gilhool to dominate the boards at both ends.

In his much-anticipated matchup with 7-foot New Jersey prospect Keiner Asprilla, Gilhool posted an impressive 24 points and 12 rebounds performance. The No. 1 rated prospect in our Class of 2025 displayed his full stretch-4 skill set in that game. Gilhool (LSU commit) popped threes, scored off dribble drives, finished in close with authority and ran the floor for transition lay-ins. His footwork and positioning skills were extremely impressive. On defense, Gilhool provided significant resistance on Asprilla, and he cleaned the glass.
