Working as a primary ball handler, Smith stuffed the stat book in Radnor’s championship game victory with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Smith is an athletic, quick twitch guard who used his tight handles to get downhill and attack opposing defenses. Once he was inside the arc, Smith navigated his way to the cup for a lay-ins, dropped dimes to the dunker spot and kicked out to open shooters. His ability to operate in pick-n-roll action was especially impressive. Smith’s creative passing skills produced an average of 7.5 assists per contest at the GV Holiday Tournament. At the other end of the court, Smith’s active hands and anticipation skills led to a slew of steals.

Smith is the only returning starter from the 2023-24 Radnor team that won 22 games, finished second in the Central League and advanced to the 2nd Round of the 5A state tourney. He is an extremely athletic guard (also a standout lacrosse player) with a quick burst and significant hops. Smith thrives in the open court where he can pilot the fast break for scores or assists. On half-court possessions, Smith can score off dribble drives and cuts to the basket for lay-ins. He can also use his length and solid frame to post up smaller defenders. Smith is a streaky three-point shooter and when he gets hot, it is trouble for opponents. Last season he averaged 10 ppg. and scored a season high 19 points (3 triples) against WC East.
