Gem City 16 U has had an impressive start to our circuit and Rothwell is the straw that stirs the drink for his team. With a group of talented players from the Miami Valley area, they’re a team to watch this weekend.
Hopson Elite Jarrett’s 16 U squad has been impressive this spring and this duo has already caught my eye. I’m excited to watch them again and hopefully find some more talented prospects on this team!
One of the highest ranked 2025 players on the Prep Hoops Circuit, Stubbs has already been named to an All-Tournament team this spring. His Mac basketball squad is high on my list of teams I need to see this weekend and it’ll be exciting to see which of his talented teammates make a name for themselves this weekend.
Midwest Basketball Club will have a couple 16 U squads at this tournament, our scouts will be on the lookout for their McElroy squad who has been led by Johnson last weekend with 20+ point scoring outbursts.
Highlights
Another Midwest Basketball Club standout, Hess is an elite shooter for Midwest Basketball Club Sayre/Maurer. We could see a teammate of Hess make a push to join him in our rankings with a big weekend.
Nova brings a talented 2025 UA Rise squad to this event. With so many talented pieces, we picked one guard, wing and forward to spotlight. Pretty much every member on their team could be worthy of making this article.
Nova is bringing three other squads to this event and Nova-Harrington has previously stood out at Prep Hoops Circuit events. Gregg had a 20-point effort to lead them in a 63-61 win over Gem City Basketball Club this past weekend.

OBC is bringing their UA Rise squads to this event and they also have numerous players to spotlight. With 6 players already featured in our 2025 rankings, they have a marquee matchup with Nova’s 16 U group on Saturday at 1:25 P.M. Appointment viewing on court 2!
