While there is still a long road ahead for these prospects, they have already proven to dominate various aspects of the game within their class.
Ryan Van Alsburg Ryan Van Alsburg 6'8" | C Rocky Mountain | 2026 State CO – Rocky Mountain
Already standing 6’7 at 160 lbs, Van Alsburg has already gotten plenty of runs with the Rocky Mountain group this summer. He brings high level interior defense, where he easily instigates opponents with his elite reach. I look forward to seeing his adjustment to the high school physicality and his overall efficiency as a play finisher.
Caleb Fay Caleb Fay 6'4" | SG Kent Denver | 2026 State CO – Kent Denver
Fay brings versatility and size as a physical interior finisher and notable shot blocking prowess. Already standing roughly 6’3 or 6’4, the shooting guard will turn heads due to his off-ball movement and highly efficient finishing around the bucket. Fay already shows flashes as a spot up shooter from distance, one such area that will significantly open up the floor. Areas of intrigue reside around his shooting volume and overall defensive versatility.
Kade Speckman Kade Speckman 6'8" | C Lutheran | 2026 State CO – Chaparral
Already standing roughly 6’7, Speckman has caught eyes thanks to his positional fluidity and interior defense. The incoming forward has already shown flashes as a jump shooter and post threat within half court situations. Areas to monitor will be his defensive instincts both inside and out on the perimeter along with his comfort level taking jumpers.
Elliot Moskowitz Elliot Moskowitz 6'3" | CG Colorado Prep | 2026 State CO – Fairview
Moskowitz is a roughly 6’3 point guard bringing excellent strength along with a high feel for the game. One area of intrigue resides in his fullcourt passing vision, where he is excellent manipulating defenders and hitting teammates through tight windows. As a lead guard, Moskowitz is already a fair bit bigger than his classmates, allowing him to bully smaller opponents to the rim. The incoming freshman is already a knockdown shooter off the catch, allowing him to be deployed on or off the ball. Some areas of intrigue reside in his lateral quickness versus quicker guards and assist to turnover ratio.
Izaiyah Romero Izaiyah Romero 6'1" | CG Colorado Prep | 2026 State CO – Fairview
Romero will be one of the more electrifying athletes in this class given his effortless bounce off either foot. His downhill driving is especially effective due to his quick first step and touch finishing around the rim. I look forward to seeing Romero’s impact without the ball, given that he is already a lob threat at 6’1. Areas of intrigue will be what level of shooter Romero can be and the potential of his passing vision.
Jeremiah Hammond Jeremiah Hammond 6'3" | CG Cherry Creek | 2026 State CO – Cherry Creek
Hammond will be one of the tougher guards in the state, given his highly skilled offensive toolbox. While standing roughly 6′ tall, the combo guard has already flashed three level scoring upside and high level vertical athleticism. Stepping into Cherry Creek, the combo guard will immediately command reputable shooting gravity and self creation upside. Hammond is already on the radar of multiple colleges throughout the state. A couple areas of intrigue reside in his shooting habits and exactly what level of passer he could be.
