Lexington’s Sports Center played host to the Next Up Recruits Prospect Camp on Saturday and some players really stood out over the course of the day. This list does not include any players who aren’t from Kentucky. These are in no particular order.

[player_tooltip player_id="1022270" first="Trent" last="Hinkle"], Western - The lead guard from Louisville played unselfishly and fed teammates for open looks all afternoon.

[player_tooltip player_id="1497250" first="Brenton" last="Moore"], Jeffersontown - The long and athletic guard showed the ability to score the ball at all levels.

[player_tooltip player_id="1288945" first="Jordan" last="Blythe"], Moore - The recent transfer to Louisville looks like he could be a difference maker for the Mustangs.

[player_tooltip player_id="1148597" first="Brett" last="Decker"], Central Hardin - The recent recipient of his first D1 offer, Brett backed up his standing with a good day at camp.

[player_tooltip player_id="932795" first="CJ" last="Walls"], Trinity - Walls does a little bit of everything and scores the ball efficiently, even in a camp setting.

[player_tooltip player_id="1497249" first="Rheyce" last="DeBoard"], Ashland - The Boyd County transfer looked really good in the open court, scoring and distributing.

[player_tooltip player_id="1122207" first="MJ" last="Wardlow"], Bowling Green - In a camp full of point guards, Wardlow stood out thanks to his abilities with the ball in his hands.

[player_tooltip player_id="932793" first="Ondre" last="Wicks"], Western - Ondre was trying to dunk everything (and succeeding most of the time) in the game I saw.

[player_tooltip player_id="1497251" first="Dayton" last="Williams"], Butler - Williams was a top standout in the 2024 group in my opinion. Big fan.

[player_tooltip player_id="1369439" first="Walter" last="Campbell"], Western Hills - The athletic forward played his way into the Top 40 All Star game.

[player_tooltip player_id="1221669" first="Jeremiah" last="Israel"], Lloyd Memorial - The bouncy guard earned two offers over the course of camp.

[player_tooltip player_id="1229131" first="Max" last="Green"], Oldham County - Flashy but fundamental, Max was good all day long.

[player_tooltip player_id="1497248" first="Bo" last="Morse"], Ohio County - The bruising post player didn’t back down from anyone all day long.

[player_tooltip player_id="1043605" first="Hudson" last="Sparks"], Lexington Catholic - Scored the ball all over and flashed advanced passing skills.

[player_tooltip player_id="1118821" first="John" last="McCrear"], Woodford County - Probably the best performer at camp in my opinion.

[player_tooltip player_id="1497252" first="Jimmy" last="Cami"], Apollo - First time seeing him and he is very talented. Future D1 player.

[player_tooltip player_id="939115" first="Ayden" last="Evans"], Elizabethtown - Always solid. Ayden flashes big time potential at times.

[player_tooltip player_id="1088851" first="Reece" last="Potter"], Lexington Catholic - His skill level has gotten much higher in the last year. One of Kentucky’s best prospects.

[player_tooltip player_id="1364720" first="Gabriel" last="Dynes"], Simon Kenton - Showed he can step out and knock down multiple threes at 7’3.

[player_tooltip player_id="932774" first="Zee" last="McCown"], PRP - Always tough. Should be a scholarship level player in college.

[player_tooltip player_id="1306914" first="Quel’ron" last="House"], Ballard - One of the best point guards at camp. Lightning quick.

[player_tooltip player_id="1133838" first="Kai" last="Simpson"], Douglass - Consistently making shots all day long.

[player_tooltip player_id="1124021" first="Gerard" last="Thomas"], Henderson - Maybe the toughest guy to guard at camp because he’s always attacking.

[player_tooltip player_id="801598" first="Miles" last="Franklin"], Ballard - Scored the ball all over the court in every game.

[player_tooltip player_id="1085488" first="Damone" last="King"], Manual - Another super steady PG who backed up his D1 offers.

[player_tooltip player_id="932766" first="Gabe" last="Sisk"], Ballard - Wired to score. He scorched nets all day.

[player_tooltip player_id="1228481" first="Will" last="Gibson"], DeSales - Fundamental with a little flashiness. He’s tough to guard.

[player_tooltip player_id="1341833" first="Riley" last="Mastin"], Mason County - Versatile forward who makes the right play consistently.

[player_tooltip player_id="1320254" first="Jeremiah" last="Godfrey"], Great Crossing - Played above the rim on both ends all day long.

[player_tooltip player_id="926915" first="Ian" last="Hart"], McCracken County - One of the best all around players I saw Saturday.

[player_tooltip player_id="1108411" first="Trent" last="Edwards"], GRC - Long and athletic, Trent dunked everything he could.

[player_tooltip player_id="1221418" first="Crew" last="Gibson"], DeSales - Crew can play 1-5 on offense and guard most of them on defense.

[player_tooltip player_id="692930" first="Jerone" last="Morton"], GRC - Mr. MVP made the top 20 All Star game

[player_tooltip player_id="1287891" first="Keaton" last="Baird"], Spencer County - Baird showed he can create his offense and is a willing passer.

[player_tooltip player_id="1497247" first="Drew" last="Marshall"], West Jessamine - Played super hard and impacted winning for his team.

[player_tooltip player_id="1088817" first="Luke" last="Stansbury"], Greenwood - In a camp full of scorers, Luke may have led the event in assists.
