Gibson is a player you can play thru as a coach as he was super effective catching the ball at the top of the key and running the offense. He plays with great pace, never seemed to get sped up and was very methodical in the post to create good angles to operate. He is an underrated driver, especially when able to get to his left hand. The most underrated part of his game is his passing ability. He got teammates open looks all game.

Will is an undersized post at 6’6 but his skill level is super high for his position and is one of the best passers we’ve seen come out of Louisville in a long while. Gibson was one of the first players in the class to commit and he will be a big asset to Liberty as a 4 year player who can grow into a big role over the course of his career.

Supremely skilled, we would be talking about Will as a top 150 type of prospect if he were 6’9. As it is, he’s already committed to Liberty where his skill set and passing should be utilized to full effect. Gibson is a little undersized at the 5 but he plays super hard and is one of the best passers out of the post that I’ve ever seen.

Will is a throwback post player in a lot of ways but he is at his best when he’s facing the bucket and hitting open cutters for shots. Gibson has an unconventional looking jumpshot but he can knock down shots from deep and he has the ability to put the ball on the floor and attack off the bounce.

Will moves from 22 to 11 in this update and is right on the cusp of the top ten. Gibson is undersized in the post but is super skilled and plays very hard to overcome his height limitations. One of the best post passers you’ll see, Gibson’s best basketball is ahead of him as he could play in the high post and feed cutters like a small Nikola Jokic.
