Continue ReadingThe 2024 class is starting to wind down their KHSAA basketball careers. AAU is over for most of the rising Seniors and will be over for all of them by the end of the month. Several stars have started to commit and more will be coming soon. Let’s take a look at the top 10 post players in the class in the latest rankings update for the Senior class. This does not include players already highlighted in the Top Ten of the rankings.
Will is an undersized post at 6’6 but his skill level is super high for his position and is one of the best passers we’ve seen come out of Louisville in a long while. Gibson was one of the first players in the class to commit and he will be a big asset to Liberty as a 4 year player who can grow into a big role over the course of his career.

Jeremiah had a really big spring of AAU and earned multiple NAIA offers over the course of June. Godfrey is perhaps the best athlete in the class and routinely plays well above the rim. When his motor is going full speed, there aren’t many players in central Kentucky who can impact a game like Jeremiah does.
A big riser in this update, Glass has the chance to play at the scholarship level in college as he gets his motor running all the time. Todd Central is a small school in western Kentucky where Jamison can coast on his natural abilities. As he figures out his ceiling as a prospect, Glass could be a steal in this class. The type of player who signs with a Juco then becomes a D1 player in two years.
One of the state’s best rebounders, Fitzer is a bruiser in the low post who can score with his back to the basket and is capable facing up and shooting elbow jumpers. Charlie had a quiet start to his recruiting because of where he plays and a lack of AAU exposure but he should end up as a scholarship level player before signing day.

Baker has been around the top 15-30 in the class for the last couple of years but his stock takes a small tumble just because he didn’t play AAU this summer to focus on his other sports. A star in baseball and football, Beau is going to have multiple avenues to get to college and get it paid for. One of the best players in his region, Baker is a matchup problem thanks to his willingness to play around the bucket and do all the dirty work.
