The 11th region Co-Player of the Year, Potter went from an unknown to a top 3-5 talent over the course of the last two years. Reece could see a lot of playing time at Miami (Ohio) next season but his immediate focus is getting Lexington Catholic back to Rupp Arena in his final season.

Potter had a solid week as he was one of the best big men in the field. It’s always harder for big men to get involved in the scoring column unless they are getting offensive boards, but he did a good job finishing most of his attempts that he was given around the basket. Not a dominant player yet with his back to the basket but he is continuing to improve as he gets stronger. Affected a ton of shots around the baskets with his size and length.

Reece is among the best best long term prospects in the class thanks to his size at 7 foot tall and his skill set. Potter has the ability to knock down threes at a high percentage and is capable of scoring around the bucket while either faced up or with his back to the basket. Catholic should expect to go as far as Reece will take them this season.

Reece is a legitimate 7 footer who can score around the basket or our past the three point line. Miami Ohio got a steal when they landed his commitment as he had early offers from multiple high major schools.

Potter has plenty of D1 suitors. It’s just a matter of picking a school when the time comes. Reece has a sweet shooting stroke despite not being able to show that on the EYBL this summer. The 7 footer is the best available 2023 in Kentucky.
