Steve Quattrocchi | Prep Hoops Scout
One of the best remaining prospects in Kentucky, Edwards has the ability to face up and put the ball on the floor and attack the rim or can spot up and knock down an open three. You could make the argument that Trent is the most valuable player in the 10th region thanks to his offense and high level rim protection.

Trent is going to be a steal for whichever school signs him. At 6’8 and long and athletic, Edwards is a big time rim protector on defense. On the offensive end, Trent is able to score at all three levels and is comfortable putting the ball on the floor and attacking the rim when he catches a mismatch. Edwards is a D1 talent for sure.

Another long term potential play, Trent gets better and better every time I see him. Long and athletic with outstanding defensive timing, Edwards is a potential Mid Major D1 wing forward. It will be interesting to see where he ultimately signs for college.

Trent has an offer from Morehead State along with multiple NAIA offers. He’s very skilled at 6’8 and has shown he can be a high level rim protector. His recruitment has been kind of baffling as he should have multiple D1 offers by now, in my opinion.
