Regional tournaments are almost over and there are hundreds of Seniors who already played their final game of high school basketball. Let’s take a look at the best face up forwards in the final 2023 rankings. This does not include players in the top ten of the class overall as those have already been covered in another article.
One of the best remaining prospects in Kentucky, Edwards has the ability to face up and put the ball on the floor and attack the rim or can spot up and knock down an open three. You could make the argument that Trent is the most valuable player in the 10th region thanks to his offense and high level rim protection.
Highlights
Campbell missed the early part of the season as he recovered from ACL surgery but came back in a major way, starting in January. Campbell had a massive game in the district championship last month as he had 27 points and 25 rebounds in a triple OT loss.
Signed to continue his career at EKU, Todd had a good career and his best basketball is ahead of him. It feels odd to be writing about Keith for one of the last times as I’ve written about him for years, going back to when he was MVP of the KBC freshman camp. There is not a player in Kentucky who plays harder or maximizes their potential like Robinson does. He’s got a blue collar work ethic and makes all the impact plays to help his team win. He’s a coach’s dream at the next level.
