Dynes has come lightyears in the last 12-18 months and his best basketball is all still ahead of him. Gabe is only going to get better when he gets to Youngstown state and he already led the entire state in field goal percentage in his Senior season. Long term, Dynes may have the most potential in the class thanks to his size.

Dynes is one of the best big men in the state and instantly affects the game on both ends with his size. Has good feel defensively guarding around the basket, especially timing his jump to block shots. Good at finishing around the rim off of dump offs. As he looks to get stronger, he will have more of an impact scoring around the basket.

From unranked to top 10 in the last year, Dynes also went from off the radar to a D1 commit over the summer. Gabriel is the biggest post I can remember in Kentucky at 7’3 and is an elite rim protector who continues improving on the offensive end. Gabe has been through a huge growth spurt and multiple injuries in the last two years but should see his stock continue trending up.

From off the radar to signing D1 in the the last 9 months, Dynes’ best basketball is ahead of him but he keeps getting better right now. If Gabe can stay healthy, he’ll be a nightmare matchup for every opposing team thanks to his elite size and defensive timing.

At 7’3, Gabe is the tallest prospect Kentucky has seen in a while. He has a D1 offer from Youngstown State and a D2 offer from Emory and Henry. It remains to be seen if he’ll commit early or wait and see if he adds offers over the high school season.
