Carter is such an intriguing prospect because while he had a couple of decent moments as a junior for Broomfield, it still was never like what we expected to see coming off of how he performed at the showcase. He checked off plenty of boxes there as a 3-level scorer with size, he showed athleticism, and he was also an under-the-radar prospect that came out of nowhere and held his own. We liked what we saw from Zach the last time he came out to the Expo, and another big performance could go a long way in him getting more attention. I do think that Broomfield team could shock a couple of teams, and Zach is one of the reasons why. We want to see more of him as it’s been a while since we were high on him, and this is an opportunity to follow up his last big showcase event. 

Carter Carter Holstein | 2026 CO earns his first appearance in the rankings after shining at our showcase, and what stands out is his maturity and versatility. He gives you a bit of everything as he has good size, rebounds well, shoots the three with confidence, and consistently plays the right way. Carter Carter Holstein | 2026 CO moves without the ball, spaces the floor, and makes smart, simple plays. His poise and all-around skill set make him one of the more intriguing newcomers to the 2027 rankings and a player that I feel Broomfield will certainly utilize this upcoming season. I like his game and think he will jump onto the scene early on. I like that Broomfield team, and he’s a reason why.  

Carter Carter Holstein | 2026 CO showcased a well rounded game combining scoring ability with defensive effort. Offensively he has deep range and the confidence to get to his spots, keeping defenders on their toes. When he attacks off the dribble he drives hard to the rim, finishing with control and aggression. On defense Carter Carter Holstein | 2026 CO stays engaged with active hands and quick feet, contesting shots and disrupting passing lanes. His blend of scoring versatility, ability to create off the dribble and defensive intensity makes him a reliable two way contributor who impacts the game on both ends

Zach Carter Zach Carter 6'4" | SF/SG Broomfield | 2027 State CO is a versatile 6’4 “lockdown defender who takes pride in his defensive play. Able to swat shots away and defend the perimeter, Carter makes for a crucial spot on any roster. On the offensive end, Carter makes the most of transition opportunities, spacing the floor and hustling for easy layups. Coming off a productive summer of volume with Hard2Guard, Carter is looking to translate the momentum come this fall.
